I agree that feedback is a critical component of learning. It not only creates the opportunity to highlight to students their respective strengths and weaknesses but presents opportunity for increases collaboration and involvement between student and teacher.
Feedback is very important for students to understand what their strengths and weaknesses and correct them in the next course work or real life tasks. However, the feedback should be descriptive enough for students to improve their work. Without a feedback assessments are not useful at all.
Feedback helps guide students to the areas that need improving and the areas that are satisfactory. It gives a good assessment of the student's progressive performance before the final grade and students really appreciate this..
This is ironic considering my school (NHS) wanted to remove Italian and Greek from the languages available to students, and now the school is basically doing it anyway by making languages not compulsory in Year 9 and over the years it will drop to Year 8 and even 7.
did U know that that school (st clares) has a school band? how awsome is that! and they are going to perform at their schools Halloween disco! you should do an interview!
