My family had a springer when I was a kid, she was the smartest kind hearted dog I ever come across. I’ve been thinking it’s about time I get one of my own.
Don't like his environment out alone, don't like you inducing him to howl, don't like you teasing him with the ball, don't like you NOT showing him affection. Show him some caring, all in all you don't deserve a beautiful puppy like him. Yes we have had Working Springer Spaniels, they thrived on kindness and good solid training, top pedigree in their breed line , making them fantastic gundogs and beloved companions. Please cherish your pup.
the most beautiful pupster .. just expect him to stop on your walks if he hears a fire truck, ambulance or police siren, and he will do the same thing .. I had two cocker spaniels that would stop and howl, usually in the middle of a crowd, and entertain them :)
great movie ! i go springer spaniel ( jessy) and she is exactly the same . Always wants to be outside and walk into fileds . Love my dog, She is 8 yeras old now.

They have rage syndrome and are used in some police departments as sniffer dogs. They are very good hunters. I own one and it had blue eyes when it was a puppy and we’ve had him for 2 years now and his eyes changed from blue to brown.
