You'd have to change the wiring loom or have your 50cc loom adapted also need to change the engine mount, either get a whole 125 mount welded in or shave a 50cc mount ideally you'd want the 125 mount

When you say spooge? Like oil coming from the exhaust? Outlet? If so it's worth maybe taking apart and inspect and replace any broken gaskets or seals etc

The typhoon frame had to be cut, I'm unsure about the skipper I do know they have larger forks from factory, so might work

That's probly something I wouldn't do, try a Typhoon or a mk1 skipper loom

You dont have to convert the loom it plugs up , just have to maybe re set where the wires go

Any typhoon 125 frames in south london hit me

Hi the engine mount was equally cut down/ shaved either side so it could fit in between the big block engine bushes

What exhaust is it, and how comes it wouldn't fit my 125 was a direct fit had to space it abit on the bracket part

@@Garage_Four_Twenty it is a standard pipe, it doesn’t fit because of the subframe. Hits it in some way that the bow can’t be screwed on to the exhaust port

@tomkranenonk3163 have you got a typhoon 50cc mount or another, also try bolting the downpipe to the exhaust then mount as a whole it's fiddly but doable, I also should of mentioned I chnaged the studs and nuts on the cylinder for a m8 Allen type bolt because it's a smaller head and doesn't require a 13mm hex

@@Garage_Four_Twenty typhoon 50cc subframe and turned it around so the head can fit. I’ll try and fit the block with the downpipe already on. Doubt it will work but we will see, thanks.

I had to shave the frame down, I showed it and talked about it a little in part 2 I think

@@Garage_Four_Twenty no worrys u no u have actually convinced me to stop the gilly build and swop to a typhoon build also i see u said about the grab rail. Depending on where u live have u thought bout having it dipped in acid to strip it

I was actually thinking about getting the side case and grab rail done in chrome like a dip rather than polished, does he do that

It probly could but you've got to think the gilly is liquid cooled, so there's plugs for that side of things, also the indicators are different locations, the plugs will be different also its definitely not just plug and play, the closest I've seen to a typhoon loom is a mk1 skr / skipper loom

@@keeaan6895 if you watch through you'll see where I mention about cutting the frame to run the vx forks, the runner St forks are plug and play but you can only use one collar on the stem rather than two

Currently on a standard 125cc 2t crankshaft, with new bottom main bearings, there was minimal play in the crank so was ok to use in my opinion 👌, updates coming soon 👍

Hi mate some of the 125 engines are actually small drum 110mm drum so some actually fit, make sure it's 110mm rather 100mm

I've also wanted to put a mc1 front panel on myself but have never got round to doing it
