It is never too early for Christmas 😂 though I’m fully in the Halloween mood until November 1st. I love Daisy Jones and the Sixth looking forward to hearing what you think of it. I’m also obsessed with those classic editions they are so beautiful

Once again, very relatable. I just paused the 4th Wheel of Time book after 300 pages because I needed a break. So I started a very good stand alone horror book, John Langans The Fisherman. And also, when I am distracted while reading, I see the words but I don't process them and I have no idea what I just read. Added The Killers Christmas List to my christmas list. The blurb sounded quite interesting. Greetings from Germany!

I bloody loved Daisy Jones & The Six and I’m a fantasy girlie usually. I read it in a day, that’s how much I couldn’t put it down. The TV series on Amazon is great too. Enjoy 😀
It just gives you the best warm fuzzy feeling, also the reading thing you mentioned at the end, I can be reading a book a thought will come into my head and I'm still reading but thinking of something else so have to go back to the start of the paragraph and re read it sometimes multiple times, I do my own head in with it 🤣
Of the classics you got, I’ve only read Dracula (my favourite book ever) and Peter Pan, which is one of my favourite childhood books. Of the others I’ve only read Throne of Glass. Great haul though.

@@BookishDadReadsif you wanted to wet your feet with Dracula, the movie with Gary Oldman and Anthony Hopkins (among other amazing actors) is very close to the story,but is a little easier to get the vibe of the story without the massive paragraphs of flowery descriptions. (Just try and ignore Keanu and Winona’s bad accents).
@@BookishDadReadsalso, I don’t know what happened to it but I had another comment that was basically just thanking you for being open about your bad days. It’s so important that people in general, and particularly men speak out about their mental health.
Daisy Jones has been on my shelf since April! I loved the TV show tho (it’s on prime) I stopped myself from buying that copy of pride & prejudice in TK maxx today 😂

I’m so glad you do come online and talk, I’ve been in a dark place many long and scary times but for me it did eventually get better. I hope and pray it does for you too.
