@BruceMobile. Hello Bruce, it looks like I am the last person to make a post in the last 10 months. Here's another post for you. Right after I saw your video, I went out and got to work and I was able to get the wire connected. It was grimy and full of grease and very difficult to reach. I cleaned it the best I could and then fought like crazy to get the wire connected. However, the wire was only part of the issue. Ever since then it's had intermittent starting issues. I thought it had to be the ignition, since the key lock tumbler was damaged and I had to finagle it to get the key out. Finally, a couple of weeks ago, I replaced the whole ignition switch, since Acura didn't make the key lock tumbler a separate part of the switch as most vehicles have. Yet, that still didn't fix the starting issue. Sometimes it starts after a couple of tries and other times it's only by luck that it starts. I have opted to replace the starter and so have purchased a new one. I went out today, jacked up the car, an set it up on jack stands. After examining what I am going to have to do to get to the starter, I'm not sure exactly what I will have to remove besides the driver's side drive shaft. Is that all I would have to take off, or are there other parts needing to be removed as well?
@@altheamayberry6142 I believe once you remove the axle you should have enough clearance to access the starter. Also I would inspect the wire connections to the starter. That includes the battery terminals. Ensure they are clean and free of corrosion.
Good morning, Bruce. I just had this P0430 code on my Nissan Pathfinder. I replaced the cat and replaced both upstream and downstream O2 sensors. This hopefully ensures that I don't have to go back in there again. Good job workout!
@@KENDRO1K I would say not expensive compared to most other businesses. But to get a good solid start I’d say 30k. But it really depends on your level of experience and tier of service you want to provide. You can get started with even less I’m sure.
Please do not dont mess with the plugs on the side of the oil pan.i was told once theyre striped out it could crack the pan.the actual drain plug is on the botton of pan.and needs to be replaced with new one each time

@@yashsbhatia yes you really can’t go wrong with using Mobile 1. Is recommended for most foreign vehicles which usually withstand longer oil change intervals.
Good and tight. Technically you should practice using torque specs, but on a brake job like this I don’t get too technical. I believe I’ve been doing this long enough to have a feel for how tight they should be. The specs are easily obtainable online groups forms you can pull up on google .
