our school did ap gov for sophmores and I sobbed once a week because of that class. (full disclosure I was in a horrible mental state and dealing with unmedicated adhd🥳) but Imma be so real I would study for tests and still fail, I failed first semester and dropped to regular and got an A it was so easy in comparison. It's known as like the worst ap at our school. I'm not sure if I'd do better doing it senior year because of the medication and better mental state or if that class was just bad or maybe I had a bad teacher Idk I did also miss a lot of class for outside reasons. I did ap lang this year and it wasn't hard just really tedious and annoying and I kinda feel like it killed my creativity and I love to write but didn't enjoy it. Looking forward to AP French cause I'm already at a B1 speaking level and I'm good at speaking. Looking forward to pysch cause I hear it's easy, and comparative gov cause I also hear it's easy.
JESUS CHRIST died for your sins in the cross. He died and then resurrected on the third day. He is an eternal and living GOD. JESUS CHRIST cares for you and loves you. JESUS CHRIAT IA THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE.
i also constantly hate on ap art i HATE IT rn and i love art in itself. it’s all hard deadlines for me and it’s so stressful to manage with my other classes. and the SI makes me feel closed it by the theme
Man... I just watched this, and it just seems to me that lights are on in my room right now. I was procrastinating my studies, and it all now looks different. I WANT TO BE PRODUCTIVE AT EVERY SINGLE MINUTE BEFORE MY SAT AND OTHER DEADLINES COME. Terrific video, boy. That's all I can say!
Do you have a tip to study the calc BC test from an AB class? In my school they dont give BC classes, so the students often self study and then take the BC test.
im a current hs junior and its my first year taking any ap classes! here are my rankings lol red: apush - I HATE THIS CLASS SM i spend so much time trying to teach myself everything cause its the first year my teacher has ever taugh ap so literally nothing we do in class helps me nor any of the other students for tests. well the only thing that kinda helped me were little debates we had, but not that much. the teacher assigns us a chapter each night and only reviews the material for the unit the class before the test. and when he reviews its not even like hes teaching it?? its like hes just dumping all the info during a lecture and i cannot learn anything from it. its so annoying i hate this class with a burning passion. last thursday we had a midterm and i got a 55 on it :/ (though a lot of other students also got worse grades than me so eh) orange: ap bio - i love this class! the content is challenging but i love my teacher. unlike my apush teacher, my teacher really engages with us during lectures and i have no problem trying to recall stuff we went over during class. a lot of the time we get up and do demonstrations that help us remember concepts. i put in a lot of work into studying and it actually pays off lol (unlike apush) yellow: ap lang - i dont really have to study for this class but i still do good lol. i like writing so i think thats why im doing good so far :D green: none blue: ap psych - i honestly hate this class LOL. my class is stacked with both ap and regular psych students, but my teacher does not teach at all. she just gives the regular psych kids a fun little crossword while assigning the ap kids the annoying ap classroom videos and calls it a day. i always just look up the answers during tests cause she does not care about us at all lmfao
My school hardly has aps since it’s an ib school but i did pretty well on APHG freshman year with a 4 and 5 on AP World last year, now taking AP calc so ill see how it goes
I took WHAP last year and I still got a 4 on the ap exam, but idk if it was my teacher or maybe lack of effort but that class is a solid orange for me personally idk if anyone could agree lol *forgot to mention the insane amount of pages per week!!!
My rankings of the APs I have taken so far! self-study: Environmental science skip some classes... here and there: World history, Seminar alright... is that all you got: art history (My teacher gave us tests before we learned about things in class so that we'd have to study a lot... Even though it definitely payed off and I really enjoyed this class, reading about baroque art for five hours the night before the test is kind of exhausting) My predictions for the APs I have junior year: alright... is that all you got?: US history, European history, Literature K.: Physics 1, Physics 2
The freshmen at my school have the choice to take AP bio instead of bio honors, but I personally didn't and plan to take it sophomore year. But, I heard it was very hard for them and many of them did not even finish the frq. But, they still got A's throughout the course by sharing answers. But, next year they are not allowing freshmen to take AP bio since they were super behind in the course load. I am little scared but I'm hoping for the best haha
Congratulations on your academics! I really enjoyed watching your video. You have a nice content. Also, you did a great job with your extracurriculars. Very informative, great job! Good luck with everything you do! Also, best of luck at Brown University. Again, great job with your content!
Bro we leads all of that bio stuff like Krebs cycle this year as freshman, in normal bio. Planning to Rosie AP bio jr. or senior ur, cuz they only offer it then, but it sounds kinda hard. And ppl at my school think honors bio is tricky (it is).
So imma be a sophomore next year, but picking classes now, I’m debating between AP euro and AP hug (human geo). I’ve heard that at my school, hug is easier, but more boring. I want to and will take both at some point. Any advice? (It’s my first time taking an AP, but I tend to like and and do good in history/current events/social studies. And both teachers seem cool.) thanks
if the AP euro teacher is good then take AP euro. But if they have a reputation of being a bad teacher don't take it. Don't put yourself through that pain💀-a current AP euro student
I haven't taken either yet, but I've heard that AP hug is pretty easy while AP euro is kind of hard. If you have the option to take AP world history, I would take that as a sophomore (if your school has AP world, but sophomores can't take it, you should take it as a junior or senior). If you like history, I'd take AP art history as well at some point, but there is definitely a lot of studying involved. Anyway, out of AP euro and AP hug, you should take AP hug
This is so motivating and amazing- I can’t imagine how long it took you to make! I know this is an older video, but I hope that you are having a great time in college!
How did you get in with this video when u didnt say anything like your ec, and u talked mainly about ur dad and u dodnt say why just thos uni is good for you?
i was on club swim and high school swim, did research and qualified for internationals, was part of HOSA (a health club), was the lead editor and photographer for our school's yearbook, volunteered at the hospital, was the student director of research for science honor society, etc. (i did a video about my ec's if u want more details ✌🏽)
as a senior who self-studied all her aps cuz her school doesn't offer any lol: red: cal bc (started 2 weeks before the test fml cried every day. my snaps at that time were interesting. gave up on the bc part lol but still got a 5 wtf?), ap lit (got a 3 and i had no idea what those poems were talking about) orange: world history (hear me out, took the test as a junior...weird ik but got a 3??? lol i thought i could at least got a 4) yellow: physics c mech green: n/a blue: micro/macroecon
Hello. Thanks for your video. A question, I got deferred from Columbia this year as an international student. I want to continue some sorts of research and write really good contined interest letter and update them all with my application. Do you think is there a chance to be accepted in the RD as an international student?
omgg heyy!! yeaaa i think u got a decent shot for being deferred!! you weren't rejected so that's a pretty good sign!! not sure about international students, since i wasn't one, but just be patient and that's it (and plus your interest letter) ✌🏽
My rankings of the APs I took now that I’m done Highschool: Red: Physics C and BC calc Physics C you already explained pretty well, but for me, BC calc caused me more suffering than any other class I’ve taken before. That might’ve been because my teacher absolutely rushed us and we finished the entire class in the first two mps though. Tbf, she did a good job anyway and I got a 5. Orange: Lit, APUSH, Euro There’s not much I can say for lit other than I had a terrible teacher. For APUSH and Euro, I’m just not great at history and there was a lot to memorize. Yellow: Chem, Lang, Calc AB I found chem pretty fun, so it wasn’t too terrible to learn. I actually didn’t do great in the class, but I rushed through the AP test, had time to check everything, and still had time to take a nap and I got a 5. Lang was a decent amount of work, but we did enough preparation that the test wasn’t terrible even though I kinda hate english classes. AB calc was pretty hard for me, but then again I skipped so much of my homework I’m surprised I even got a 4. Green: bio, stat, french I took accelerated honors bio my freshman year and then AP my senior year, but the class was taught by the same teacher and honestly felt almost exactly the same both times through. I maybe took two days worth of notes and I got a 5. The math in stat really wasn’t hard, it was mostly the writing explanations that gave me some trouble. As for french, I skipped so much of my homework I should not have passed the class but my teacher was too nice. Plus my parents speak french and I already speak spanish so it wasn’t too hard to learn. Blue: gov, human geo I may as well have not taken gov this year tbh. I did not pay one bit of attention, did not study, and still did pretty well in the class and got a 3 on the test. As for human geo, I think part of it was my teacher was great and literally spent the whole year preparing us for the test, but part of it is also that a lot of the concepts are really intuitive. I got a 5 and only got maybe 2 homework assignments the entire year.
