Will this work with thumb throttle and no pedal assist? I'm going absolutely nutty trying to fix my LatieI30 I have installed the dual mode learning controller and no matter what I do I can't get it to work.. I have brand new working motors, the display works but I can't program it... so hope you can help me out.. this scooter is breaking my bank

I have a KT controller, the display is very expensive, so I want to do without it. I disassembled my controller to find out which wire to the display is responsible for what, and this is what I got: Green cable: TX Yellow cable: RX Black cable: G2 Blue cable: SK Red cable: N Can I try to do what you did? Or is it not relevant for KT controllers?
I have a 250 W E- bike regular controller. I wanted to use the s. W 900 for display on that, but it doesn't have the same pin outs as the controller. It came with anyway. My hall sensor wires broke yesterday and I got no time to wait for parts. I'm hoping I can just take those off. And it will work the same. I have pedal assist Wires did.I had to tuck up because the controller?I have for it now.Doesn't have that just high low and mid rain speed.I guess my point is, can I just take these hall sensors off and use the pedal assist as a throttle if I connect that to the throttle or can I use my twist throttle?Still sorry about the wrong question
As far I understand your hall sensor connection is damage right, if so then you can only use 3 pass wires blue green and yellow.. it will work some controller if is dual mode controller..
Can I use the peddle wires for a twist throttle or swap the the 4pin throttle to a 3pin twist throttle harness colour wires are red orange white black and the twist throttle is red green black what wires go to witch

I need your help. I have Carrera ebike I am trying to install throttle but I am facing E21 . I removed the crank sensor which is already dead. What do now ?
Power The battery may not be supplying enough power to the controller. This can happen on Rad Power Bikes, Ride1UP, and Aventon ebikes. Speed sensor The speed sensor may not be working properly, which can prevent the bike's pedal assist from working. This can happen on mid-drive ebikes. Current The motor current output may be too high, causing the controller to shut down to prevent overheating. This can happen on Aventon ebikes, especially when climbing for long periods with maximum pedal assist turned on
Hello first I want to thank you for your helpful videos. Also I want to know if there is anyway you can help me, my display got wet and I ordered one from Amazon the m5 lcd display it turns on but I get error 10. So I just want my bike to work I tried no display touched red and blue no throttle or peddle assist work my bike is a Denago fat tire top tube bike with a 750 watt rear hub bafang motor with torque sensor. The controller is tongsheng. Thank you very much
@@SaamE-bike I used multi meter checked all mosfits and wires every thing seems good on my original display I had a password I had to enter on display to get the bike to go is it possible the password is programmed into the controller if so can I reset controller or enter it some how with the different display I bought? My controller is tongsheng KZqw23C also I have grey purple white brown wires running through the harness to display and throttle plugs any idea what those are?
Wonderful video!!! Can you help me with my problem? I bought a kit for my e-bike. Came with controller display hub brakes. Everything you need. It's a 3000, 5000 wat. The controller works on 48, 60 and 72 volts. Maybe not 60 maybe 50 something. But 48v and 72v are correct. I got a brand new battery 48v, I hooked it up and turned it on, but nothing happened. The Battery makes a sound. I checked the Battery and pushed the button, that tells you how much battery you have left. Not one bar lights up. I unhooked the battery from the bike and pressed the button, full charge. Its a sine wave 100a controller. I hooked up everything correctly checked and rechecked all the connections. Made sure nothing was keeping it from working like the brakes and Pas. Can't get it to turn on and work. Do you think it's the controller? Or something else it might be?
Hi you can check the controller minimum voltage ⚡️ because some controller built in voltage high so you can't use small battery.. as you mentioned 48v new battery.. you can try with different controller..
@@SaamE-bike Thank you i will check into that. It is supposed to work with 48v 60v and 72v batteries. I rechecked what it said. Maybe they said wrong. I even tried hooking the charger up while trying to turn it on. Didn't help. You might be right, even though they said it will work. I will try to find a 72 volt somewhere to test. Nice Video but what you say is not always through i think....so my display and a lot of others have no blue and red wire....like these ....APT/No.2/S5/Bafang protocol: It’s 5pins out from controller and display, which display could be adjustable for setting lots parameters, like wheel size, motor poles, voltage etc. This design more suitable for ebike, electric bicycle application. 🤔

Hi my battery was stolen and a new battery is so expensive but i have another battery same spec but it wont work ,i can put this controller on and my battery will then work do u have any other way of a universal battery working without costing me so much money
@@SaamE-bike the battery i have now wont work on my bike its not the original as that was stolen so i got a standard battery same volt but not a bosch make and it wont work do i need to buy a bosch battery as my bikes 5 years old there not made anymore so would a standard controller work on a middrive so it will make the battery work .
Oh now I understand 👍 universal battery won't work because the original battery has more connection.... yes universal controller will on the bosh mid drive, make sure you connection all cable right way it should work.. good luck
@@SaamE-bike ive a 2way sinewave i dont mind attaching it on the downpipe etc but its the only way i can get a battery to work on it its way to good of a bike Raleigh shouldnt have discontinued parts after 2 years its a 2and a half bike ?

Hi thanks for your message hopefully you will get it fix.. this is single mode controller if u have dual mode controller it will work both like throttle and pedal assist....
I just open my display and did same as u suggest.. all 5 wires de-soldered from PCB of display, then soldered only red and blue, and kept rest three wire isolated through glue, and try to run it through paddling but it isn't working.. didn't observed and push from motor, while I well know motor, battery, switch is correct bcz I tested by replacing my friend's same display.. now I stuck.. I thought it's uncharted.. I plugged cycle into charger then it's not charging, I disconnected the display green jack, then it's charging.. I want to know that is there any another wiring connection between controller 5pin jack and display 5pin jack? bcz I joined the red blue wire from display side.. and it didn't work..
Hello Sam can you help me ..I have a rich bit 1000w bike i change the controler, the battery is ok ,the display its shown nothing no power when I pressed simultaneous power and for example the lights or the horn i se a little light and a small sound of the horn...They told me all problem can be on display.. i open the display no screws nothing but i open but i don't understand nothing..if put together blue and red how you make she gona start ? Hello i have the add motor EBike my plug is round and has 10 pins inside i hooked the blue and red my bike has throttle and assist will this trick still work
This helped a lot as my eBike has a 3 pin connector to the motor & nothing works but the battery & connectors are hot. No continuity on any of the 11 pin main harness connector. The PAS if connected should activate the motor it looks like with or without turning the control screen on the 5 pin connector on.
