Awesome! I enjoy doing diablo speedruns, mostly D2, but D4 is a really good change of pace - also, i think this strat is viable at the start of a new season except you're gunna need to salvage instead of tossing items ;)

In speedruns we cannot use aspects until level 25 (when the quest unlocks them) and same with Tempering (level 15). This is similar to what you could do in a new season with the exception of needing the mats from salvaging the items instead of dropping them.
@@jseney93 they've done a lot of work on charge in pd2, one thing is this fix that you're thinking: "Will always charge in melee range instead of doing a normal attack"
Enigma requires level 65 cuz of the jah rune, and getting that many levels loses too much time compared to the chip gem+ort cubing the staff. But in the first runs, we did use Enigma until we figured out that it was slower.

Yeah, mods aren't for everybody, but this 1 and BTD for D2R are still very similar to the base game and any additions are in the same spirit of the game
24:10 the unique staff also gives +50% to poison res, which is helpful when fighting andy; and 100% mana stolen, so if you charge into a monster, you get quite a few points of mana back
I know what Serpant Lord does.. Poison isn’t really a problem unless you get a “crit poison” or super poisoned. And in that case poison res doesn’t really matter: you either need an antidote, a well, or go back to town to heal. As far as the mana steal.. that can be bad where charging into a monster fills your mana bar and immediately cancels the mana potion regen, the best thing on it is the 10 mana. Larger mana pool is a nice qol. Otherwise it just clogs my inventory, and I want space for andy drops
Another low-key high-profile run melting the old record. Next time sub 7hrs? 😉 (Also, that missing tele staff fumble was insane to watch. Luckily turned out well.)
