I see you replying to some comments about adding back spells saying "as long as they're new spells so the price of existing ones don't drop", but also in this video you suggested to enable spells year-round which would make all the spells shoot up a ton in price. Feels like a bit of a weird suggestion and as someone who enjoys the game casually, competitively, and through trading I think that suggestion would be bad for pretty much everyone involved except large spelled item hoarders. Also would ruin the spectacle of spelled items, sometimes I'll just be playing casually and see exorcism or pumpkin bombs pop on one of my weapons and I'll just be like "Oh it's a full moon tonight, neat". Also wouldn't be unpredicted for valve to add back items/effects. They re-released the old school halloween effects back in 2016 which was all the effects from 2011-15 for a bit and that was super cool and kept some of those effects a bit more affordable for a short while (not that they are anymore). I'm all for a re-release of the original halloween spells despite owning like 30-40 spelled items (with plans on getting more), I would much rather they be worthless and accessible to make everyone's hats look good rather than exclusive and expensive. Imagining unusual weapons with spells or even just some of the newer hats/cosmetics with spectral spectrum on the like is just super cool in concept and it's very unfortunate that it just can't exist at all.
trading is for dumb kids who assume theyre the smartest. investing based on experience nets me a lot of profit, i have never traded, never left the steam market its real simple guys. old limited items that players like to use. buy them in bulk. sit on them for a few years. profit. i project my account to be worth a couple thousand in a few years when all the strange quickfix boxes get bought out, i bought all the limited strange crates for pennies and now theyre dollars. im already at a massive profit. my quickfix btw went up by 3$ in a short timespan, called it. id buy more but as we know cases are better I just think most tf2 traders are silly kids who think "just trade up" as if the guy on the other end isnt trying to trade up xD stop sending me crap offers
Little tip for anyone that wants to buy a key at the start of your buy them from the marketplace or a trusted 3rd party(you use these so you can buy keys that are immediately tradeable) and you can often find them for cheaper than the store price. Store price is 2.50 ea. if you buy from marketplace and find them for 2.10-2.30. It’s not much of a discount but it can certainly be the difference of you being able to buy an additional key or not.
The first scene sums up trade server. "Buying unusual war paints and skins with 100k" Gets a trade offer sent and the person adds a 30k unu SMG "100k please"
I once took a plane ticket worth $7 500. My employers said I don't deserve it. All I wanted was peace. Instead they gave me more and more problems to solve, which unfortunately, is a Terry A. Davis situation.
You said, free real estate. I made sure the Primes are satisfied. Now it is just you in that chair, I dunno who's going to rescue you, kinda like me, on Shutter Island.
Last time I attempted to trade I ended up with a like, - 4 key profit because by the end of the attempt which lasted a few weeks I just wanted to get a nice looking unusual and stop. All the servers I tried to trade on where just people wandering around either trying to scrap bank 10 years too late or trying to trade massively expensive unusuals. The bots and hard item prices make it so that there is virtually no way to trade up without happening to own some niche hard to price item that isnt too hard to price.
Disco beatdown being affordable is like not that true for many hats. For some of the newer hats, it's really cheap but for older hats, they can sell well up to 100 keys, which you can get yourself 3 hats with the above mentioned effects for the same price. All my disco beatdown hats are selling for up to 100 keys rn, and I barely cut it down to get them for 70. Since bots are all demanding like 65 minimum.
Another scam that's still going and I recently avoided is the "Tournament" scam, where someone will ask you to join their friendly tournament for free that has a hefty prize as a reward. They will then send you a link to a fake tournament website that will steal your steam login information if you input your details. Stay safe y'all!
34 CC glengarry's exist, at least as far as public inventories are concerned, with there even being 6 spelled unusual ones! There's a dead presidents, scorching flames, eerie orbiting fire, smoking, purple energy, and a miami nights CC glengarry in existance. I'm sure some of them will show up on the market eventually, but if not you could always get BPTF premium to maybe try and negotiate with some of the owners.
so during halloween i unboxed a haunted vest that is strange, it was worth like 45$ (keep in mind I am a f2p player that guards myself to stay one) until this video woke me up to the reality that " OH NO VALVE TREATS ITS F2P'S LIKE SHIT"
