🤔 Aren't we upon another Eclipse? I know the last one I saw many wonders & colours in my head! I was there sprawled out daring to be extracted from this planet 😂 Well I'm still here but is was a sight to behold & I still have my vision!
The daisy chains and laughs is PURE GENIUS? Roger Waters brilliantly got inspiration from William Shakespeare in MacBeth: by maggot pies and coughs. WOW!
wash away the blackness With the silver rain Don't turn away, don't turn away Wash away the blackness With the silver rain Don't turn away, don't try to hide Sulfurous and burning Spitting out the sun The beginning of creation Of the golden one A window to the west A blazing star above In Taurus we begin it And the ladder has begun Don't try and blame me for your sins For the sun has burnt me black Your hollow lives This world in which we live I throw it back Four-headed dragon For the four degrees of fire Purify the insane Bring the solution ever higher Bring me all the elements Spread them round my head Bring me madmen's bodies I will break them all like bread Don't try and blame me for your sins For the sun has burnt me black Your hollow lives This world in which we live I hurl it back Don't try and blame me for your sins For the sun has burnt me black Your hollow lives This world in which we live I throw it back Don't try and blame me for your games Your games are death My world is light The Angels fill my eyes With every breath And so we lay We lay in the same grave Our chemical wedding day And so we lay We lay in the same grave Our chemical wedding day And so we lay We lay in the same grave Our chemical wedding day 🤘
I'm not a guy who gets emotional during weather or astronomy events, but, the 2024 eclipse in Erie PA, was by far and away one of the most emotional moments I've ever witnessed. And the funny part is, I can't understand why!!! It had my heart going, I was just in total awe!!! If you ever get a chance to witness a TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE from inside the blackout zone, ⚫️ DO IT!!! WE sat in traffic for 6 hours AFTER it, took is six hours to travel what usually takes 45 minutes. And not one person in the car complained. Alls we talked about was how awesome what we just witnessed was.
@@isthiswherewecamein6130 I saw 2017 eclipse with a daughter in TN, this one in MO with 2 daughters, they came from WA and FL., worth the travel to be in the giant shadow and share it with loved ones. Guess I get emotional when everything under the sun is in tune...
@@markrenfrow9873 it's good you got to share it with family. I was with my youngest boy, who my wife says is my close cause we'reso close in personalitys, and my beautiful daughter. Couldn't have had better companions for this event. Quick question for you, I don't know if it was just the angle we was on, or if it has to do with the way cameras take pics of eclipse. Did you notice that instead of having the bright wide yellowish ring around the moon, it had more of a thin bluish thin ring around it? That's what blew my hair back, it looked completely different than what I expected. Anyways, lmk what it appeared to look like where you were at. Also," ...the Sun is Eclipsed by the Moon. There is no Dark Side of the Moon, really. As a matter of fact, its ALL DARK!"🌙
@@isthiswherewecamein6130 Yeah, the blueish ring thing, like the corona is blue hot. I think we had thin layer of high cirrus clouds, some of the shadow cresent things not as noticeable as in '17. Also "It's only lit when the sun shines on it."
@markrenfrow9873 it was actually, it was, I don't know how to describe it. It just was so beautiful, but at the same time it looked like something out of a Sci fi movie!!! Alls I know is that stupid words aren't enough to describe it.
Not ONLY am I listening in 2024 DURING the actual Eclipse in 2024 in Erie PA. But, yet if I'm still kicking around on this little blue marble in 2025 I will most definitely be listening in 2025!!
I had brain surgery 13 years ago, glioblastoma. I don't know exactly what I asked the surgeon but he told me he listens to pink floyd during surgery. That was somewhat comforting to me because it was one of my favorite bands. That and God Almighty and my mothers prayers, RIP mom. I pretty much am guessing this is the one he played. I never asked him as I was busy recovering.
" And if the cloud bursts, thunder in ear You shout and no one seems to hear And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes you can JOIN ME on the dark side of the moon" My little change to the song
