Wow! That is a well maintained fifty-one year-old bike. And it has 42,000 (miles) on the odometer. I worked at a grocery store part-time my senior year in high school (graduating in 1973) in order to buy a new motorcycle, replacing my 1968 Honda CB350 I had bought used. Price was comparable with a 1973 Yamaha XS650. I chose the Honda because of the four cylinder engine. I also loved the color scheme of the Honda (candy bucchus olive). Perhaps I am skewed, but I think it is one of the finest looking bikes ever made. Just look at it! I did trade it in on a new 1976 Honda CB750F to accomadate a Windjammer fairing and saddle bags for cross country touring, however. Great to see the old Honda, again. Thank you.
I had a 1975 k model in the same color. loved it and wish i still had it today. Man, do i miss the sound of those four cylinders! Beautiful bike, thanks for sharing.
