"this ground sure is tough today". Poor dude standing totally on the shovel and it still fights him. Sorry man, I've sure experienced that too. And for your fight only a copper penny.. Yep. That is the real world of metal detecting more than silver and gold. Thanks for showing the truth as it happens man! I hope you dig up a chest of coins one day.
It's not the years of it. That was so awesome. I have been to that place a bunch of times with my old detector and the first time I went there with my new one I found a little coin spill that has a peace of metal wire over top of them. I didn't mean to miss lead you. Thank you for watching anyway. Hope you have a wonderful day. Maybe one day I will make a video you will like.
I'm 1hour and half from Bristol in Marion NC you ever get down we'll put the coils on the the ground waiting for winter I've got plenty of places to hunting the woods
I like the close up shots. Hang on there on the silver, I have never found any on public ground. All mine ( which isn't much) has come off of permissions, with the exception of rings at a beach which was community owned so semi public.
I can always tell a copper penny from a zinc penny when I dig them up. The copper penny will still be complete and round while the zinc penny will look like its been eat up by grinder with jagged edges. The soil where I live eats up zinc pennies. I got a Vanquish 440 but still mostly hunt with my Tesoro Cibola because it runs quiet and goes fairly deep. Like the Vanquish too, but sometimes it will give a coin signal on deep iron plus its harder to pinpoint than the Cibola.
New sub here and long time equinox user, my 800 is my back machine now but when I used it all the time, I always used all metal. It seems to pick up coins with a more solid signal, to me anyway
That place was loaded my first detector was a 1984 whites 5500 j laid the coins out with it I owned 5 whites I use a Garrett at pro hunted a baseball field tear out 19 silver 48 wheats 4 buffs and over 400 coins my favorite place to hunt in the woods if you ever get to WNC we take you with us
I went metal detecting for 2 hours at my local park yesterday, found nothing but trash and one quarter. I think I need a better location lol. Great video, keep up the good work
Thank you so much. I'm trying to make my videos a little better each time. It sucks when you have days that you can't findanythingbut trash, but I'm sure you will kill it the next time you go out.
Nice hunt Jamie looks like your on the clad, I believe you might be right there may be some older coins there. I got a few wheaties and a mercury dime this past week.I almost had to heart attack thought I found the gold coin but it was a 1987 Canadian dollar coin, gold in color. Keep swinging my friend 😜
That field has had a lot of fill brought in for whatever reason. The so called reed you dug is actually part of a late 60's to 70's aluminum comb popular in the day.
Ohhhi see your subs like the channel because they know your name they feel they hunting with you not hating i only have one vid and it sucks but in my new opinions you working way to hard
Lol bro you have a great detector if i were you and i only have one video prob 30 views but why you digging so deep unless you relic hunting and get rid of that minelab 35 and get an xpmi4 far superior pin pointer your digging way to deep
A good day out. It would be good if at the end of the hunt you could give us a rap up of your hunt. This would include your trash finds as well as your good finds. You are doing well. Cheers John
Nice hunt Jamie. My good finds for the last week were 2 silver Pandora charms, 14k barbell charm, 10k heart charm with a D in the center, 24 inch gold toned stainless steel necklace with a head of Christ charm , stainless steel ring with the Lord's prayer on it, and a 1944 Mercury dime 👊👊👊
Lol great finds sounds a little too good i hunt every day in civil war places and great places where people lost stuff and never found that much of your honest. That's awesome if you're lieing your a loser
@@bigedkcyou seem to have a lot of criticism of people. I have nothing to gain from telling people what I find I'm not going to win any prizes 🤣🤣🤣 I know what I found and gps every location of that find. If I had a way to post pictures of my finds I would but I can't, so stop insinuating that I'm not be truthful, have a great day 😜😜😜
I used to love hunting those narrow strips because there was always tons of targets. If you haven't already try searching a sidewalk tear out sometime. Preferably where an old brick sidewalk has been taken out or even under an old concrete sidewalk there are usually some nice old coins. Happy hunting!
Enjoyed your video! I went to a park in Palm Springs, CA which I believe was never hit before and found 91 pennies in one afternoon... It was not a old park so no old coins but still fun because it was non-stop! Thinking of going to Oceanside beach Monday after the big July 4th holiday... Hmm?
I see you're a small channel like mine... I like that you have video and channel tags! A lot of guys don't have any and you'd be surprised how important these are for small channels! As a suggestion... you might want to put more keywords into your description as RU-vid looks at the very first 200 characters... If you are lazy like me you can have Chat GPT count and put them in for you.... Really easy : ) If you ever want to chat let me know
Nice hunt Jamie. I got out this week and found a silver Figaro chain and necklace, gold filled necklace, rose gold Pandora ring a no date buffalo a few silver coins and a 8.9 gram silver ring and a bunch of bling and clad 👊👊👊
@@SMALLTOWNMETALDETECTING Thanks, I have been doing very well lately, I forgot to mention I also got a woman's Bulova watch with diamonds and today I got a 1883 IHP
@@SMALLTOWNMETALDETECTING I'm pretty fortunate to have within 15 minutes of my location 7 highschools, if you count the middle and elementary school's you can triple that number. I also have a crazy amount of parks near me also 😁
