It is an inefficient and costly way to vet people. It is done to maintain of a system of fear against people running the slave trade mostly. The people there get very dominated and feel the need to lash out on others. They need a system of fear so you don't see they are just regular people too and not invincible. Like me. Great content. How do seller/buyers decide on how to account for the asset in a business. Seller would normally lean towards the book value rather than the market value, so the tax burden is relatively insignificant on the seller side, whereas the buyer would normally go for the market /fair market value on the asset evaluation to maximize depreciation. Can this be included in the purchase agreement?

Takkia, unfortunately we don't practice in South Carolina so we can't speak to the specifics of that state. But, the extension to UI that went through the CARES Act was enacted at a national level and would apply in each state.
