Awesome vid, thank you for sharing such sacred knowledge! Would love to know more about your family background and ties to the land in another vid, as well as more resources towards dreamtime stories!
The fenced in areas are poorly designed and destroy much vegetation area. The locals say they miss the dingoes roaming freely. They had no trouble with them at all.
Nice video thanks for uploading! May I ask - what flooring do you use in the peaked awning room? I can't tell from the video if it's just a mesh or if you got some sort of siliconised/waterproof flooring? And do you pop a mesh under the tent flooring too? Thanks! ☘
Thanks! This (link below) is the mesh flooring that fits perfect under this tent and its peaked front room. But we also have a cheap rectangle mesh floor for under the awning. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-F5JcjCPQc6M.htmlsi=gc5pwZAmnGocm9wz
Lol the fact that the first shot showed fresh tracks going straight past the ‘no vehicles beyond this point’ sign tells you everything you need to know about Bribie 😂
Hi Beary Bold, thanks for making this video. I am having the same problem, guessing it might be fungus but decided to go the grub killa route first. Sure enough, the caterpillars came up, and after few hours at night I went torch light hunting to pick them up so that magpies wouldn't eat them in the morning. I saw quite a few moths as well since that's what they will turn into. I just squash them out. So when do you re-treat your lawn, beginning of spring and through to summer, stopping for autumn and winter? Also, I like your bamboos in wooden box. Did you make the boxes yourself, what kind of wood did you use in order to prevent termites or rot? Thanks so much!
Hi there. During time of testing, had the fridge point on the battery turned off? As I can see the fridge temp ranged from 1deg to 6deg and if it was running all the time the fridge wouldn’t get to 6deg if set to 1 deg..
That's where I live. On the waterfront at Woody Point. That little bridge at the start of the video you rolled over, I'm to the right if that bridge ☺️ gorgeous spot hey
I am Koori, Wiradjuri mob. I now live 20 mins from the Glasshouse Mountains and it is a beautiful spiritual magical land. You can feel the energy there. Thank you 🖤💛❤️
Great video. I only plug my 12v fridge to my rover. I found my fridge and battery off a few times. Upon observation, when the compressor doesnt run i noticed no output watts in the LCD and then the battery eventually turns off and there fore the fridge too. Have you experienced this as well?
Same, just bought a 70Amph companion and an 80Ltr OZ trail fridge, it seems to be turning off every 1/2Hr or so. I want be able to go away for the day and come back to camp with a cold fridge? Not sure if I’m doing something wrong?
I bet you love your Oztent, had an RV5 with peaked side panels / front panel years ago. Upgraded to a Jet Tent f30x with peaked side panels / front panel and only just sold that last week but now regretting it. (That is on my YT channel) Just way too big for myself and the better half which most of the time is just me. Looking at the DARCHE AT4 Air Volution as a replacement. Anyway enjoyed the video, I just knew the dog was going to chew through that guide rope. I’ll be sure not to have my staffy around when setting up the AT4
What is the voltage output of that thing when it is fully charged? I simply won't buy any lithium power pack that's under lower than 12.6v when fully charged and the reason being is once it gets to 50% charge the voltage is gonna be so low that fridges and appliances will start cutting off. I've seen their promotion video of companion 100ah version and it's 12.1v at 100% displaying on screen and I told them it's a joke as the 44ah unit is at least 12.8v when fully charged 🤗
Fraser is bloody awesome. First time up in April this year. The sand was soft hot and powdery, no challenge for a well set up GU Patrol 4.2. We made it look easy lol
Hey there, were you in one of the first cars? Hope you don't mind the footage.... I tried to blur out faces & plates of the cars that went through before us. How awesome is K'gari! 🤙
Hi thanks for watching! I always try to aim for getting the wind/tide to help me on my way back..... so I usually paddle against wind and have wind at my back for the return trip. Tide swell, heights and direction can impact your paddle depending on where you are (sheltered or in bay or open water etc.) Beware of sand/mud flats too lol. Have fun!
I live just down the road in New Farm. I didn't go looking because I didn't want to get in the way of emergency services, so it's very interesting to see these vids. I didn't realize it was that bad.
My version of "camping" would be a log cabin hahaha Or maybe a caravan... I'm too scared to camp in tents in case some creepy crawly crawled on me lol The coastline and the dingos are beautiful! Growing up, my grandparents use to have a dog named Candy who was half dingo. She kept jumping in the air trying to catch butterflies until one day she twisted the wrong way in the air and became paralysed from her waist down 😥
Thanks for watching! K'gari is just sooooo beautiful! Its hard to pick just one favourite spot. But Sandy Cape was magical, water was calm, stunning, felt like your own bit of paradise, and less people is always good. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ex_psUvkmSE.html <<< Sandy Cape video.
Nice footage! Thanks for sharing this one. I spent 3 months at Caloundra back in the mid 90's. It's still very recognisable. Glad to see your drone found a playmate.😆
Haha, the mini drone was a tad cute... thanks for watching! Its good to see so many people with memories of Caloundra. What a wonderful country we live in ❤🌊🤙🇦🇺
Big thank you for this l, have been watching from the beach but the Ariel view shows how spectacular and fast the change is happening. Can't wait to walk over to the island when the old bar fills
Before Covid 19 put a stop to international travel, we stayed for 16 days, every year for 10 years, at an apartment at the bottom end of Ian Street on the top (3rd) floor overlooking across the road, the Happy Valley entrance and the beginning of the board walk to Kings Beach. The water activities around the "old" Caloundra Bar we could see clearly from our apartment. We still have vivid memories and photos. We can see what were "our" deck and windows in parts of this video. Thank-you for sharing it.
You're very welcome! Thanks for watching! Amazing how the sand/beach has changed over the years. We stayed at kings every summer as kids. Caloundra and Bribie are special places. Much more busy now lol.
