My goal for this channel is to showcase through video how great it is to LIVE here, the FUN things to do and how it can fit your lifestyle. I've been living in Walnut Creek for 52 years left San Francisco becasues WC was country living seems like big city issues and politics slowly has made its way to WC, Folsom, El Dorado Hills or to the west Tiburon and Marin County seems more applealing for my next move.
Living in WC for the past 33 years I've seen lots of change but it has always been measured and manageable in my opinion. I appreciate much of the growth has been downtown focused. I've lived in the downtown area, Northgate and Rudgear neighborhoods. They all have their pluses and minuses but enjoyed living in each area at that time in my life. That being said the politics are making this state especially the Bay Area an unsustainable place to live and raise a family.
@@HammernFrank I know it's gotten so bad with taxes. CA is really pushing people out. I would have not said this a few years ago but it's really gotten out of control. :/ I feel like there is a diminishing middle class and it will be a luxury to buy real estate, our kids will not have the same choices as us unless they make $350K ++ alone or combined with their spouse.
I’m going back to Marin. Even if I’m living in old old cottage I won’t have to deal with homeless drug addicts in Civic park. It had everything to do with me wanting to leave. I can’t hack it anymore.
@@RelocatingToTheSFBayArea yes I’ve called the police several times. There aren’t enough police for the area as they are all around the shopping area and not near the park. I don’t know why they haven’t gotten more involved to help us who pay taxes and live in the downtown area.
Thank you for sharing. If you have not been to Gilroy Gardens do, consider taking your kids there and please report back. It's like a mini-Disneyland. I enjoy your content about places to take little kids since I have a 5 and 2.5-years old. I am glad you enjoy the bay area.

Lived in Moraga for over 5 years then moved to Orinda. Love Moraga. Just have to live there and experience it. Both my kids played sports at Campo so enjoyed going to the games. Hanging out at SiSi Cafe. Enjoyed lazy morning walks. Great place Yes, one way out to Orinda could be a negative for some people. But not a negative for me I enjoyed the drive on Moraga Way
No basement? Could a teacher or firefighter afford a dated ranch house with cosmetic upgrades? Do salaries keep pace? Am I the only one concerned about the future of our country with such prices?
No Basement. In Walnut Creek, maybe if there are 2 incomes, it's almost impossible to do it on your own in CA. Unless you get a condo. It's really is bad here. It's now a luxury to own in CA not everyone will be able to. :/
I love Sycamore Valley Park for a reason not mentioned: The hilly hiking trail behind the softball fields. A good sweaty hike with full visibility in all directions. Gorgeous scenery!

Out of 100, that's a score of only 36, that's why your video is not reaching out to the people and you do not have many subscribers, views, likes, watch time, and comments. I think your RU-vid channel will make your dream come true. I am waiting for your response.

Wow, I get that you need to make a deal but $1.9 million for that? The interior is clean but very dated in a 1980s kind of way. Needs renovated. The price of housing is insane. I would pay $900K for this tops.
