The National Museum of Women in the Arts brings recognition to the achievements of women artists of all periods and nationalities by exhibiting, preserving, acquiring, and researching art by women and by teaching the public about their accomplishments.
Grew up with DMV Gogo and miss it SO MUCH, someone turned me onto Be'la today and man I would have loved to have had some ladies representing like this in the 90s <3 Ill be keeping up with these ladies from now on !
I saw some of her beautiful pieces on display at the National Museum. If you're ever in DC, check out the museum for yourself and tell your friends about it. 😊
They sound good. As I’ve always said DC GoGo music is great original music I just wish they would stop playing everything from other artists and come up with original music and get this 50 + years of music on the level of where hip hop has been. You guys and girls of GoGo music can receive all the awards and acalades you deserve if you would just work on original material and don’t play one song more than 4 to 5 minutes. Think about it. Love from DJ Slamm

So interesting to watch her working. Using her own tools, and the way she makes her sculptures and paintings. Details and cultural references identified her essence
