Wayward (adj.) not behaving or moving as expected. Welcome to Wayward Elegance, the adventurous, unpredictable life of a rogue ballerina! I’m Kristen, nice to meet you and I hope you stick around! 😁🩰❤️
So happy to see you uploaded- I stopped what I was doing & made a cup of tea to watch! Thanks for the update- I’m sure you’re making your mom proud with your strength & tenacity through your rough month. Looking forward to what you get up to next! Would love to see a “how I work out in a week” video where you take us to the gym whenever you go in a given week, breakdown what you do, and maybe what you eat before & after your workouts.
That’s so sweet! Gym routine would be fun! I’m actually jumping back into my routine since I’m not teaching so much, so this would be great! Thanks for watching ❤
This is a great one! As a college professor I used to talk about this topic with my students a lot, and definitely have some thoughts. Such an important discussion!
Definitely frame and hang those photos from that fateful day! You are a wonderful storyteller. My heart truly goes out to you on hearing that you lost your mom so young. I danced from age 6 through college, mostly ballet but also modern in college. My life then became busy with my career, marriage and children. At age 39, I serendipitously ran into a friend I had danced with when I was 15. She now had a ballet studio based on Royal Acadamy of Dance. She told me she had adult classes and encouraged me to come to class. It was amazing! I hadn't realized how much I missed ballet. The muscle memory was still there and I was soon taking 3 classes a week. I am now 68 and am still dancing. I have been back on pointe off and on since age 57. I feel so blessed!
Thank you! I love that you found your way back to dancing! I teach adults twice a week, and I’ve had quite a few people in the last couple of years who are returning to dance just like you. I love getting to experience the joy of them rediscovering everything. I’m so happy for you! ❤️
Good on you for doing what you gotta do to pay the bills AND not giving up on the goals you are passionate about. It’s so hard to do. I’m rooting for you too!
