@@brickguygaming3248 Oh okay! When it's glued like that, you'll just have to use a little more force when taking it off. Some tweezers might help separate the glue from the plastic, but it's normal when it's glued! And when putting it back together, I don't re-apply glue. I've not yet found it necessary to do the glue.
Great questions! Sorry for the late response, also. I would recommend glue to put new ones in, just because there's not much holding them in place otherwise. You can paint the eyelids without skinning the furry, with precision lol. You just have to be a lot more careful, and you might not be able to cover as much surface area as you would with skinning it first!
Great question!! I used the cheap acrylic paint from Walmart, or any other cheap store, but I kept each layer of paint very thin because it does tend to be quite thick/chalky.
@@destinysmith8747 thanks for finally responding. I have tried sanding the eyelids before using cheap acrylic, and coating it in modpoge and nail polish, but it ends up sticking inside the furbys head! I have tried using spray paint, but it keeps peeling off. I don't know what to do
@@Enchantedmusicandmore Okay okay... I'm thinking that maybe the layers could be too thick - just with the paint, modpodge, nail polish all on top of each other, it could be just very thick and that's what's making it stick! Two suggestions -- make the layers as thin as you can, and maybe try gently sanding the plastic above the eyelids back a little more. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a great solution -- if the eyelids stick, I just won't move them very often. My furbies are all broken, so that works for me, but it doesn't really help if the furby still works and you want to turn them on... I'm sorry!
I wouldn't say it's wrong, but it depends on who you talk to in the Furby community. Because they are old and aren't in production anymore, some people might argue that it is wrong, just because there are so many that don't work and they want to value the ones that do work! At the end of the day, it's up to you and whatever makes you happy though!!
I love ur furby! Since you were wondering about drilling through the glass: you can’t drill through without it cracking, but if ur using plasticy glass, you can heat up a needle and make a hole. Sorry if this doesn’t make any sense!
I was wondering, is it possible to replace furby eyelashes without removing the Furby's eyelids? I stripped a screw and can't open my Furby's plastic shell. xnx
I haven’t been able to successfully remove eyelashes without taking the eyelids off! I tried once, but the lashes glue was so old that they ripped in pieces. I have however come across many stripped screws! They are very tricky, but if you can manage to get it off, replace it with a different one!
This Furby was not working!! Most of the ones I’ve found don’t work, but that’s because they are the cheapest on eBay!! I have one working one that I haven’t yet customized, but once I make a video for a working one, I’ll show some footage of it on (:
@@destinysmith8747 is this similar to removing skin off a fake furby called furbish I was wondering if it’s possible to replace a furbish skin with normal furby skin
Aww I love Ender! When I was making my long furby I took apart the faceplate parts, painted them all and then reassembled it. Though I probably would have painted it on the furb if I wasn't remaking it, seems like that's faster. Anyways just wanted to say keep up the good work! I love ur content :3
Currently doing my nails while watching your content I love it so much and I love your commentary it was really fun to watch because I recently got a nonworking furby myself for pretty cheap and I wanted to decorate him since he doesn’t work so it’s fun to see someone else to get some ideas
That’s so cool!!! I love to see what others do to customize their furbies. If you post it anywhere like Instagram, drop the handle and I’ll come look!! I’m filming another furby video now, so another should be up soon!!! ❤️
If you want to message me on instagram @maedayoperation, I can try to help you!! Many of the 1998 furbs are different, especially depending on which generation they are but I should be able to tell you if you send pictures!!
You two are so cute and comical !! Love the look on Spencer’s face when he didn’t want to crush the fruity pebbles 😂 Ps next time take butter out of fridge a half hour before u start 😊
I just found your series cause I’m gonna do one myself soon and I’m so excited!! How did you get the stars to move in the eyes? I’m excited to see more of your stuff
Such kind words omg thank you so much!!! I removed the original eyes and used a plastic sheet/resin to create a little cover for it and put the stars in, like glitter!!! I’m gonna post another furby video soon (:
Oh I hear you! Just be creative (: Do whatever you want, there are literally no rules. It can be a lot of work, but if you’re really into it, it’s so much fun!!!
