hello everyone 🦋 if you somehow manage to find this, you have stumbled upon my channel meagreads, originally named booktalkwithmeag. My mission for this channel is to shout out my love for books (mostly middle grade and romance books 💛) The type of content you can expect: reading vlogs, reviews, hauls, wrap ups and all the other secret (creative) videos. I also discuss what it is like to be a social worker in Canada, and much more. Hope you enjoy my little corner of the internet xo meaghan
Hi! The very first one with PS? I’m thinking about doing book boxes for my book release but was wondering if I would have to put the book box in a shipping box or can it be shipped like that?
@@Keely001 most subscription boxes ship straight in the box they come in! They very rarely come in a box in a box☺️ I personally don’t think it would be an issue if you did it that way!
Don't know if you know about this, but thought I'd give the idea to the book community. I myself am trying to not buy as many books unless I feel I want that physical copy so I highly recommend using Libby! Basically supporting your local libraries! You just gotta get an e-library card and connect to your closest libraries and then get both audiobooks and e-versions of the books you like! There's often a huge waiting period though, but if you're okay waiting a month or couple of months for a book (often a good time to catch up on our ever piling TBR!) then it's well worth it! I use it mostly for romance books (because I know I don't want to own physical copies of them and if I don't like them I can just take 'em off hold and give them to the next person), but it's great if you're wanting to downsize.
@@renardsarcastique8865 hi! I have looked into this, however it isn’t accessible in my area, and all the libraries are french. Therefore I wouldn’t have access to any of the books I love to read. I really appreciate the insight, and im sure it will help other viewers ☺️
@@meagreads I'm sorry to hear that, but also so intrigued that your libraries are in French! Good luck getting your personal library down to a spot where you like it :)
Very nice unhaul video indeed! I’ve never seen any of those books before. I usually get my books from goodwill or at a library. Can’t wait to see part two! 🤗📚✨
@@meagreads Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez for the ocean/water prompt. Not sure about the free pick. Whatever I'm in the mood for that day, I guess! :)
@@meagreads yup definitely setting my notifications for the live show! Maybe I missed it but did you set the live show dates for book 2 and 3 as well? I know you’re reading the first book July 2 book in August and third book in September just like to plan ahead if possible
Good luck with all your goals, I love this type of videos❤ Hope you're doing well 😊 I kind of feel you with the make up thing.. I have a total love/hate relationship I can't even😂
I entered myself here before checking my notifications . To be fair since I won the previous giveaway I won’t enter this one 😊. I love middle grade and I just ordered myself a taste of magic. Super excited for it 😊
Okay, no book pick for the month of July, good to know. A Taste of Magic sounds so good and would like to be put in for the giveaway please and thank you. I can't get Hedgewitch at the library so will try to get another middle grade book for September.
Ah, the dog books are always the ones to elicit tears. I've read a lot of dog books, but I haven't heard of Stella, so I might have to check that one out! I haven't done a ton of reading yet this year, but I think I would have to say: 1. Best book you've read so far this year All Creatures Great and Small, by James Herriot 5. Biggest disappointment Flashback (Keeper of the Lost Cities), by Shannon Messenger 6. Biggest surprise The Last September, by Elizabeth Bowen 10. Book that made you cry The Monster in the Hollows, by Andrew Peterson 11. Book that made you happy On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness, by Andrew Peterson 13. What books do you need to read before the end of the year There are so many, but I think a few would be Shark Heart: A Love Story, Remarkably Bright Creatures, and The Mistmantle Chronicles.
My summer reading so far is to start the Throne of Glass series, finish The Mortal Instrument series, and from there hopefully stay on track with getting my books read on my 24 books to read in 2024.
