UK PEST CONTROL WITH SUB 12 AIR RIFLES AND FAC RIFLES
We are trying and succeeding in protecting the beautiful red squirrels in our area. The way we are doing this is by humanely controlling the grey squirrels, with the use of UK Specification PCP Air Rifles. The Invasive Greys that are out competing the reds for food, land and also passing the dreaded Pox on that the reds have no immunity to need eradicating from the UK
We also control various other pest species, keeping within the law at all times and ensuring we do it in a safe manner
I have 2 5-20, one was fine done in minutes and the other i had to do a factory reset and then it worked👍 make sure you write your BC data and x-y coordinates down pal. The new app is much easier and better imo
@crazycressy7986 write down all of your bc info and x-y coordinates. The new app contains the ability to update firmware and the bc table so no need for 2 apps as before. You can save 5 bc tables, enhanced picture quality, the rangefinder mark is the same colour as the reticle you choose is what i’ve seen so far. It’s much easier to use👍
I’ve sold the cheetah! 👍 The arken is much better with regards to image quality mate, the cheetah pixelates when magnified but i think the cheetah is easier to set up by a little. I just use the arkens now👍👍👍
Hi pal. Thank you for the video. Would you recommend the 5x20 or 3x12? I am torn between the two and I want something I can connect to different rifles.
It depends on what rifles. If you do a lot of air rifle close range the 3-12 for a wider FOV(although i use the 5-20!) if it’s FAC out to longer ranges the 5-20 is definitely better suited. Either way they are superb!
@@VerminHuntersNEUK I agree...I have the 5-20 on the FAC FX Impact M3, and it works a treat. Had the 5-20 on the sub 12 FX Impact Mk2 for 6 months and also worked great
Hi mate, i think it is but and the trigger you do get a bark, down range it’s quiet so you get the usual run aways from the pellet hitting. if you want it quieter then fit the eaglevision adapter and a suppressor, i have an XLK on mine👍👍
@@VerminHuntersNEUK thanks for replying pal 👍 is fitting the adapter hard? Ive heard you have to removed a glued baffle at end? Sorry mate whats the shot count like on it?
You answered your own question pal, brilliant! They are unbeatable for the price👍👍 follow the link in the video and spin the wheel for a discount on one👍👍
Awesome pal. I have the 22cal Vixen short in my collection & it is insanely precise, even at long range. Happily takes rabbits, squiggle, pigeons at same ranges (had a couple pigeons a bit further mind) just get used to the setup & practice practice practice 😁
Great video and great shooting. Considering to by a Zulus as well. What's your opinion on it? Awesome airgun. I have one myself in .22 fac long. Power output is 41 joule or a bit over 30 ft/lbs. Is your fac as well or limited to the UK limits? Accurate up to 65 to 70 meters.
@@VerminHuntersNEUK i was promised one to review, even bought the Eagle Vision mount for it but it never materialised 😁 but currently have the Pard DS35 70 LRF Gen 2 & ATN 4K PRO 3-14 with ABL1500, so would have been a good comparison. It certainly does have some good reviews & the picture quality is certainly very good, but like you know, what you see in YT/FB etc is normally not as good as in reality 😁
i got 1 of those good little scope..shame the lrf doesnt work properly and hik dont seem to care. i even sent them a video of what it does and still they didnt care..shite service from hik...so bought a zulus and love it......
No mate, it’s .177 sub 12 using JSB Heavies. AGT Vixen Short with the eaglevision adaptor on the shroud and i fitted a weihrauch xlk moderator👍👍👍 thanks for watching👍
Nice shooting bud ,I was in the garden for 2 hours lastnight playing with the 3x12 ,can't believe how good these scopes are ,just need to get it on the Vixen and get out and use it ,going to start uploading videos again 😊
hi buddy i have a aa s410 in .177 and run 13g zan slugs in it. do you think the bc will work well with this set up. also for the same gun would the 0moa mount be better suited. cheers👍
Hi Lyndsey, yep, the bc will work no probs and as for the mount what has the s410 already got built in if any moa? If it has say 20moa built in go for the 0mount, if none built in go 20 or 35👍 happy hunting and thanks for watching👍👍👍
@lyndsaycolclough i’m not sure as i’ve not had one. May be worth asking your local RFD but you’ll need a dovetail to picatinny mount👍👍 the scopes are awesome!
I had the Arken and tbh it was awesome on the .223 and the usable range at night was over 400y but unfortunately I had multiple faulty units that had to be returned. Is this unit as good as the Arken ? And what’s the warranty like.
Honest opinion Paul it’s as good as the arken in daylight but not quite as good at night. I’ve tried it with several different IR’s and you’ll easily see out to 400yds but slightly grainy. The warranty is bang on mate👍
