This would problably sell much better if it was 10 times cheaper. I believe there would still be substantial profit once the assembly times are optimised. It would be nice to have an affordable infinity dodecaeder, the Chinese knockoffs are just incredibly bad.
Why has the price of these going up X4 but none are being sold according to the remaining amount on the website? I was in the position to buy one but the price has quadrupled since it has been released.
$8,500?! I literally gasped 😂 I mean it's pretty cool that they don't want just anyone having one in their home lol or hardly anyone at all. I understand the complexity of maybe writing your own code to run the LEDs, but at the end of the day it's just RGB's and two way mirrors. It likely won't be AS pretty, but with some ready-to-go plug and play RGB's from Amazon and some two way mirrors from Home Depot this could be made at home lol and for $8,200 less if not more.
I can understand it. there are Lots of Design lamps that cost thousands of Dollars, without any functionality, only normal led bulp, plastic glass. So itself the price is totally ok. they only produce 200. I think even for 50.000 All units will be Sold to rich people imediately, like for exclusive cars, too.
Funny how nobody seems to realise the cost of toughened glass with a two way mirror coating. I looked it up. The price on these is not that high, considering the cost of manufacture...
I got a terrible quality lamp similar to this on etsy and was so happy when i fou d this video and was about to order one until i saw the price of $8.500....
This looks nice, better than the one I made. But who in the right mind would pay $8,500 for some lights and mirrors? Like I built mine and the materials used costed less than $100. I know the creators probably spent only $200 on this thing lol.
Hey guys don’t bother whith it they say limited edition only 500 made if you go to site they still have 500 because they selling for a ridiculous 8,500 USD
Jesus Christ! $8,500?? Dude I’ll just cast the aluminum and install the glass myself at that point. Who in God’s name has that much money to spend on a dodecahedron?
This guy just build one himself. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rlZ9eukRAp0.html 3d Printed with even better "Quality". 1 Solid Piece. Material Cost and time about 135$
Looks rad, folks, does it have a slower speed and slower fading in and out rate setting for lights? Like, can I make it more "mellow", too? Can it be made more blue, or red, as suits one?
