Did you confirm your opinion on the official gameplay trailers ? They are native better quality, these previews you see are basically recordings of recordings given to the press. I personally think it looks decent so far, not insanely good but your average ue5 game with a bit more unique style of stalker atmosphere and identity. True tho, there are still some flaws like some dynamic shadows are missing, some shadow flickering, and LODs popping in n out in the distance and the poltergeist rock shield just disappearing instead of falling down. Hopefully these things get fixed before release. Btw, it's not coming out on PS apparently

Yes you will be able to choose voice acting language and subtitles as well, for example, Ukrainian VA with English Subs, or the opposite etc .. I do agree the English VA doesn't fit too well sadly, i'll probably use it for my first playthrough to understand the story but then i'll switch to UA voice ASAP with engish subs for sure.

@AntaryMW2 @lukavid123 yes that is included in the language selection, UA will have Ukrainian lipsync and Eng will have English lipsync so no worry there
Yeah it's around 150GB kinda crazy lol It does makes a bit of sense tho since it's completely open-world with not only surface locations but a ton of underground laboratories and caves also.

I am from the east, but yes a large portion of my viewers are from USA, Stalker has a big cult following especially in the east, but since the Anomaly mod got popular and the upcoming release of Stalker 2 and its marketing, it's getting a lot of attention from the west. Imagine armor and weapons imbued with anomalous and/or mutant traits! It would be like Borderlands in a certain sense. Fire, acid, electric, and radiation, for example. But you could do things like, say, turn invisible for a limited time like a bloodsucker (similar to Zer0 from Borderlands 2). This would be fitting for a Zone story set some years from now, so there's an excuse for the tech to be more advanced. Also, I still want to play as a fleshpig. ^w^
yoo borderlands is amazing one of my favortite franchises as well, in Anomaly, or at least in Gamma modpack, there is actually the perk artifacts that kinda let's you do that in a way, one let's you imbue you gun with the anomaly type you step into, like you step on a chemical your gun will do additional chemical damage lol and there is the phantom star, that let's you turn invisible when you equip it, and also there is the moss artifact that based on what mutant meat you eat raw, it will give you some of their traits, like if you eat bloodsucker meat, it will turn you invisible for an amount of time kinda cool
@@CloZ_ZeN Health regen makes sense, but why reduced damage? It should also give you the ability to smell with your eyeballs, something fleshpigs can actually do. A "handicap" that would make sense would be some kind of weird vision effect.
Is there a mod that lets you play as a fleshpig? I've always wanted to experience the Zone as a fleshpig. 🙃 2:31 CoP isn't really the best experience. Like Clear Sky, it doesn't let you aim underslung grenade launchers, instead forcing you to use a lame zoom, and also like Clear Sky, you can't "dodge" pseudogiant pseudostomps with perfectly-timed jumps like you could in ShoC. If you ask me, the early versions of the Oblivion Lost mod represented the ultimate S.T.A.L.K.E.R. experience before the advent of Anomaly. 2:58 There's something else CoP and Clear Sky do less competently than ShoC. That doggone aiming method where you have the muzzle(s) tilted up for no reason! And it's not just the sawed-off TOZ-66 that's like that. They also did the SPAS-12 like that so you aim over the rear sight instead of through it, whereas you aimed it right in ShoC. That means they took something that was done right and made it wrong for no reason. Then there's the LR-300 which, when using iron sights instead of a scope, is unusable without mods because you aim over the rear sight instead of through, and it's like that in all the unmodded core games. That baffles me because OLP team revamped the LR-300 and got it right in Oblivion Lost 2.2 way back in 2008. So there's no excuse for it to have been done wrong by anyone after that. Once something is done right, that's the method that should set the standard. I know that sounds like a Duty-like mindset, but so be it! 2:59 No, what we can't handle is "aiming" with the muzzle(s) tilted up for no reason, aiming over the rear sight instead of through it (when sights are present, that is), not being able to use sights on underslung grenade launchers, and not being able to "dodge" pseudogiant pseudostomps with perfectly-timed jumps. 3:03 Pistol iron sight mod is a necessity to make Clear Sky even the least bit playable. Otherwise, every pistol is useless. Yes, I know point-shooting is a thing, but it's a niche technique that's useless in the Zone. See also grasping a rifle by its mag or mag well while operating alone and outdoors (that technique is only useful when operating indoors with a team). 4:42 / 4:51 Which mods have a debug mode/spawn menu (for creating Zone Sportsmanship Challenges) as a default feature? Oblivion Lost 2010 had that because it was merged with Atlas Spawn. Anomaly also has it. 9:45 Imagine Anomaly with character classes. 10:59 Also Zone Sportsmanship Challenges. I played Oblivion Lost 2.2 for three years and Oblivion Lost 2010 for 10 years. Started making ZSCs back in 2012, first with OL2012, then with Anomaly, and sometimes in 'nilla ShoC. 11:45 ShoC + Oblivion Lost 2.2 + Arsenal Overhaul + Atlas Spawn would create a superb Zone experience even by today's standards.

For CoP it's the most polished yes but not the best experience for sure, at least personally, SoC is my favorite tbh. but true OL was much more refined in general but the LR i don't know honestly since i always prefer playing with Warsaw weapons. About the Iron sights, so truuue that mod is a must, but i meant if you just played vanilla from a new player perspective. About the debug no clue tbh, i never tried to see if there was one since i played most of the mods for the experience, but you can check the mod pages maybe you can find an answer. For Anomaly, there is actually a mod that adds the RPG system with classes like misery mod lol not that balanced tho. For Challenges i didn't bother tbh, except for the Gamma modpack, i did finish the Invictus challenge twice. For the video, i'm sure you can understand that it's mainly made for new players, so i didn't really want to go too deep into details that a new player doesn't have a reference for, that's why it's mostly simplified. SOC memories of the zone is a great beginner friendly mod for getting into the game. Removes weapons not shooting where you aim and adds elements like sleeping to skip night. Do not play anomaly and expect stalker 2 to play like it.

the generator's are not cannon and the lab under it was reworked to x16 with the monolith control center moved to the CNPP the generator's like many other cut ideas has a massy development history due to it being changed many time throughout the development of oblivion lost when covering stalker lore i would recommend you leave out cut content has it will likely confuses people who are new to the franchise due to the incomplete and in some cases messy nature of it and i am aware they will be likely returning in stalker 2 but i doubt the lore for them will be the same as it was the oblivion lost and they would have likely gotten a heavy rework during the new stalker 2's development have a good day :)
Thank you for your time i really appreciate the feedback ! but yeah you're right if we look at the original trilogy the lore development was pretty messed up lol this is why in this video i'm talking about the stalker universe in general, after a lot of research i combined all the lore that is relevant to stalker moving up to stalker 2 release and recapped it to make the most sense leading up to the lore of the sequel even tough some events are not canon in the original trilogy they still make sense in the universe in general for example i didn't mention the "zone duplicates people" theory from anarchy cell or how strelok would escape the military from x18 through darkscape with a car, cuz they're irrelevant there's no continuation in that, but with the Generators and lab underneath, now that we know they are canon in the universe with stalker 2 news, they will play a huge role in the story in the next game, so it's worth mentioning them since a lot of the gaps in the lore will be filled and this is one of them. But in my opinion if someone is digging this far through the lore of Stalker, i think they are already knee-deep in it to be considered a new player. I didn't make the map, it's the Physical map that comes with the physical edition of stalker 2, it got out when the the physical edition of the game started to get sold by online stores a few months ago. Edit : Agroprom is actually under Truck Cemetery. Army Warehouse is going to be in the Industrial Area. Dark Valley and garbage have been merged, The Cement Factory and the X18 LAB is in the garbage near the Hills drawn at its center. with the exact same layout as the original game, you can use the Pig Icon as a reference its location is also the same in that map. So the Inscription Concrete is going to be a different Location apparently. The ??? underneath the north perimeter is the SIRCAA HQ. and Worse than the Military is actually just a base of theirs included in the HQ of their security force the Ward.
