Welcome to my RU-vid channel featuring some of my watercolour paintings. I'm an Austrian artist, living in a village near Linz. I paint mainly landscapes, but I have yet to lay my eyes on something I am not tempted to paint.
John Singer Sargent is said to have have referred to painting with watercolours as "making the best of an emergency". I immensely enjoy this tension between dealing with the element of water (that has a mind of its own) and my desperate attempts at coaxing it into doing what I want.
Hey there, thank you very much! I have a couple of different pencils, this one was a Faber-Castell Grip Matic 0.7 with a 2B lead in it, but I'm not very particular with that. I just grab the first thing that I can find :-)
