I got a yearling and she doesn't want anything to do with me, she is very defensive and constantly nipping at me. And I can only work with her at night since she's always hiding in the day, and I can't really get her out of her log. If you have any recommendations for tameing her I would really appreciate it.
Where do you guys buy your cages? I have been having the hardest time finding decent quality cages for my arboreal and semi arboreal snakes. Your setup looks great!
You are the only channel I could find that even mentions the Nature's Spirit Incubator. Do you just run your thermostat probe past the front opening plexiglass or did you have to drill a hole somewhere?
Hello, I have a question about your Natures Spirit Incubator. I have heard that a couple of chondro breeders had to modify it to get the temp stable in the unit, otherwise it can fluctuate + - 0.2-0.4 degrees, have you modified yours or did it work flawelessly without any modifiication? And what type of heat element is in the unit? There is very little info about it on their website.
Hi! Clay here. We bought our unit used this time and didn’t notice issues with temp fluctuations except when we initially set it up and accidentally plugged both cords into our thermostat. (The fan is supposed to constantly run.) Nature’s Spirit was pretty good about answering our specific questions when we emailed them. The heat is hidden. It’s probably just tape. If we see another used unit for sale, we would buy it again, but if we buy a pre-made *new* unit, we will probably try c-serpents.
