Well here's the 2nd comment and entirely agree with the 1st comment. Moved from Megger to Fluke and now Metrel. Still like my Fluke but the Metrel is in a different league. I can't understand how it's not a top seller with the ring final accessory my jaw dropped at the reduction in testing time.
Mark I have been swayed to buy the Metrel by Dave David Savery's videos and I must admit it is an impressive bit of kit. Your video on the test results has been an eye opener as to where the Metrel brand sits...I was originally Megger then Fluke now hard core Metrel. Thanks for the video not sure why there's no comments but happy to be the the 1st one !

Hello Mark, how are you? Congratulations on the videos! I'm getting an MI 1532XA adapter, however I don't have an MI 3152 for the self tests, it would be possible to record a video using a digital multimeter and oscilloscope to carry out the tests on the EVSE. Success!

MI3152 at 200 mA Low Ohm measurement. Why is the measurement current not shown on the display? Important for checking the 200 mA. Is there an indication if the current is less than 200 mA?
Yeah but how do you test a 30mA RCBO (A class)? You cannot set the MFT to test at 350mA (Lewden) or 250mA (Hager) to verify the device affords additional protection against electric shock.
Of course I am going to say Metrel. The modern screen technology allows the Metrel testers to display more in one place, and to show you help screens too for that day when you just can't remember how to do the test. More importantly they make it possible for you to update your tester via the internet when new tests are introduced such as EVSE testing. When that happens with any of the competition you are expected to buy another tester! Mark
