This video is amazing. I needed to change my alternator on my 2022 Bronco Sport after 65k miles. I was able to successfully replace the alternator with the help of this video. My water pump went out at the same time, coincidentally, so I replaced that and the serpentine belt all at once.
This video would have been a lot more informative actually accomplished its goal should it shown how all the components were removed and reinstalled. Otherwise whats the point.of the video?
I looked up another video how to replace the alternator, they went in from the bottom front instead of the top front. You don't have to remove anything except the belt, and then the alternator. Going in from the top requires you to undo all of those pieces causing extra unnecessary labor time. I am a newer mechanic but I think I could go in from the bottom front instead of how you did in this video, to make life easier.
Am getting check oil level at near gas station but i just serviced the car and the oil is well gagged Could this be my problem My car is w204 c300 2009
The lock at the top of the electrical connector simple came out when I push it backwards… I put it back. The next one was broken. The others were fine. Do you know where I can purchase the lock? I examined the housing and saw that the lock actually only made it easier to be removed. These plugs have never been changed. The car has 69k and it is a 2015 S550 4matic. I just finished doing 8 plug replacement on a 2014 CLS63 AMG. Same setup, coils over plugs. I'll never understand why Mercedes engineers didn't make parallel engine bay walls, which would have left the same space front and rear to access spark plugs. Instead, they tapered the bay walls toward the rear, leaving minimal space. Anyway, using the proper tools makes the job easier, of course, but the plug boot on both sides at the back was a real challenge to remove. I found that heating up up the rubber with a heat gun helped a lot, making it easier to remove the boots. This was all done at 50,000 miles, and with a 10-year-old car... it was fun.
I have replaced this part and the arm link kit. This has been about four times and every time I install a new arm link ,3 to 4 days after it snaps broken. Is there something that I have to do after do I have to relearn the car?
I read in a MBforums a guy talking about covering the screw with tape to get the sensor in easier but I was not sure what he meant, your video explained everything. Also the small socket wrench is easier to get too the sensor? Great video!
Hey Mark Grandomkar i have the same car with same 3.7L i took off the trans oil and it was about 6.1 liter , why urs only 4 liter out ? also from ur information the diff oil and front Transfercase oil do you know what is the correct oil to use motorcraft?
Im trying to replace both my lower o2 sensor but its literally in the tightest space. Would it be best to just remove the converter to gain easy access?
