Hey Leo, It's been a while since you posted your video but I want to thank you. My shifting knob broke yesterday and I wasn't sure what to do. I am going to try this as soon as I get the replacement. I'll keep your videos close so that I can use them to help me along, Thanks!!!
Thanks to this video, my 14 yr old son and I (a woman lol) replaced my gear shift knob. Buick was gonna charge me $425!! Ordered the part for $11.99 off eBay and did it ourselves! Thank you so much!!!
Yes my name is roland & I'm asking for your help to get a Gear stick for my 200014.buickvreno. I'm here at san Antonio tx.wear can I get one for my car.thankyou
Well, the whole point was to show how to changing it...Maybe a different video showing how to remove the glove box....which IMO is the most difficult part of the procedure....
So just a quick update for all trying to do this. After you take the aluminum cover off and loosen the the black plate take the connector loose by using a small screwdriver, then grab the knob and just pull it up. I know it doesn’t seem like it will come loose but believe me it does. When you put the new one on you just put it on the shaft and give it a tap with the heal of you hand and it will pop right down in place.
Heres the link of the one I just bought, broke the plastic piece off just like leo, you also need tiny zip ties to reattach the boot www.amazon.com/Automatic-Qiilu-Vauxhall-Insignia-2009-2013/dp/B0721JZCK3/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?keywords=gear+shift+buick+verano&qid=1578609755&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUE5VjM0SlNUWUpWVzQmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA1OTk3NDUyQkxHSkJaQURUSkhEJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAxNTM4MjMxMFVET1I5RVo2UThMJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfcGhvbmVfc2VhcmNoX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
Amazon, I bought it at Amazon on line, Please browse at least 5 pages the price went from $100 to $14.99 which is the one I bought and it looks and Works GREAT!!! Please Subscribe 🙏.
I have tried but can't find them that looks like this what did you put in the search bar to find this one like what name did you put maybe I'm not being specific enough
Hold the top piece with right hand and half turn it to the right, while holding the bottom piece with left hand firmly the Metal piece is only held in place by a very small plastic tip when to feel the piece 'pop' it Will come apart easily in my case it cracked ( old piece ) new piece was easy but in reality the New piece slides in without any problem without taking it apart don't forget the metal piece goes in fist to ' Lock ' in the new piece.
