"If you boat a lot, you're known as a boating enthusiast. I like to boat, but I just don't want to ever be referred to as a boating enthusiast. I hope they call me a guy who likes to boat." Mitch Hedberg

This is a wasted model. It’s just a big 263 with an aft facing seat. Where you going to cut bait? This should just be a dual console and make a real center console. And your side doors are no where near “good”
You have your opinions. Other people have theirs. I believe there will be a lot of current 263 FS clients moving up to the 291 FS and being very happy with it.
Eh I love this type of Water Craft, exactly the type of boat that's best to be abducted by aliens from. Thumbs up from the easiest country in the world to spell, Canada.
What you and Chit were not told by the vessel's owner was the true reason for the grounding of this 92 footer. You see multi millionaires such as the owner of this vessel, are multi millionaires for a reason, in this owner's case He/She/They/We/QRT/Meow/Woof, was & still is involved with D.O.D. Top Secret Out-Sourced Contracting for Ray-Theon & Boeing. What happened that day was Bigfoot Aliens from the planet Sasquach-topia were conducing joint top secret experiments with said Ray-Theon & Boeing, these experiments spiralled out of control and so effecting negativity the Marine Vessel holding the Earth Based Super Secret Dimensional Lasers and so resulting in a complete power draw down and anchor failure. The answer is that simple:) What else could it be. Duh.
Im not sure about that sink inside the console taking so much space. Besides that is just like my 263fs oh and the expendable seat over front cooler. Over-all a great boat
Awesome job Daniel, and thank you for taking time showing my family the tour of the boat at the Palm Beach International Boat Show! Very beautiful boat.
Is there an option in the back for a pull out cooler and sink like the 263? Overall, I love the boat. Very few manufactures have a perfect balance of fishing and comfort for their boats. Love that this is something that will make both myself and wife happy.
Yes there sure is. If you look at our website now Tuppens Marine . Com you will see a 291 we have in-stock that has that option with the sink and pull out cooler like in the 263.
Looks like a great platform. I can imagine a dual console or even an express version too. Would there be trim tabs with this boat or does the sea keeper eliminate the need?
So when it rains the rod holders just drip all over the SK if it was there.... Should be plumbing to redirect the water from the rode holders. Cheap design.
Very thorough review. Very nice boat. Hate the console door hinge, but love most else - especially the floor rising at the helm for us vertically challenged.
Actually, it wasent the owner who beached this boat. It was his professional captan. And the reason was due to engine failure, and not being able to get the anchor system to work. But all is well that ends well, they were able to get the boat off of the sand beach without any apparent damage.
@@danielsoutdoors Well you would probably have gotten even more response by saying something like the boat was running on auto pilot while the captain and his mate were down in the cabin. This event had received quite alot of publicity when it happened. And it really didnt need more, especially by someone simply trying to draw attention to themselves.
How does an $8,000,000 fishing yacht with TWO MTU diesel engines (state of the art ) "lose power"???????? Failure of even one of those engines is astronomical odds, but BOTH??????? The only thing that could possibly explain that is contaminated fuel, but they got the fuel from the same fuel pump EVERYONE was using, and no one else's engines failed because of fuel contamination. This is totally sketchy. (Guys not wanting to talk on camera adds to the criminal mischief of the whole thing). Not to mention, these million-dollar+ monstrosities have docking thrusters. SeaTow could have kept them from beaching. SOOooo many other options besides beaching it. Here's what happened. A long plan in the making. The boat was bought under an S-Corp and insured. Then the owner created a SECOND S-Corp (principles names are always obfuscated) as the first S-Corp of course. Then he cooked up the plan to beach it to get the insurance pay-out. Then he executed the coup de grâce - BUY IT BACK with the second S-Corp at a MAJOR discount. Some new props, rudders, and prop shafts, and he's back in business. They even beached it at location that has no rocks, so any damage was easy to repair. Then gets rid of it after the repairs for a handsome profit. You think the insurance company can't figure that out? (Yes, but these high-roller money hackers and their attorneys are experts at covering their tracks). I would bet money this is what happened.
The dude that in his free time hangs out and films other people you mean a loser with 0 life hahahahah imagine that’s how you spend your time what a dork
Hey Daniel I'm gonna buy a boat from you one day!!! Love your walkthroughs esp out on the water. Nobody else does that. Quick question that boat'll be ok bc it's on the sand won't do much damage right? Or am I wrong? Thanks again dude!!!
Yes boat should be fine. They will need to take it to a yard where they travlelift it out of the water to have the running gear and components inspected. They will replace whatever is broken or worn out. I look forward to helping you get out on the water one day Goodson!
Absolutely, w/out a doubt,, MY Dream boat for the Texas Coast!! Gots to have one!! Price w/ 300s? w/ 400s? w/ 450s? (Has to absolutely FLY!!) ALSO, is this whole available now or would one have to wait for build? Sure would love to go to the bank draw up a check and come bring you one because this is the boat I'm looking for!
Amazing boat, definitely makes me rethink a Boston Whaler 420 Outrage, it's a hard choice but Solace is the clear winner when it comes to features, they really thought of everything. A few questions though. 1. Does that dual ice box come with a divider? Or is it all one box just with 2 hatches? 2. Where are the auto pilot controls?
1 - Transom insulated Fish Box does have a removable divider. 2- Yamaha powered boats have integrated electric steering that means you use a Yamaha auto pilot. It’s the rectangle shape with 8 square buttons mounted at the helm
@@danielsoutdoors Awesome, they really did think of everything there. As for auto pilot, apologies should have been more specific, what about the Mercury 600HP V12 option? Also with the V12 it would come with 3, not 2, correct?
@@NorthernLaw_ you can do a pair or triple 600. Autopilot on the Mercury is on the joy stick. 1 button for heading hold, the other button follows the path you set on the Garmin GPS
@@danielsoutdoors Ohh okay thank you so much, that makes sense now! I've been looking at a Solace 41 or a Whaler 42 as I said, one of the final things I prefer on the Whaler is the upper tower, with the lounge chair included. I hope Solace can one day do that as well. It doesn't exactly scream "fishing vessel" but with Solace's magnetic features I'm sure it could become something more if they were to do it.
@@NorthernLaw_ You probably can’t call Whaler and speak to the owners. But at SŌLACE I’m sure you can call the factory and speak to the owner who you can ask if they can change the tower for you. It’s going to cost you alittle extra but you don’t know if you don’t ask.
