Ingredients: - ¼ tsp Fenugreek seeds - 2 tsp Coriander seeds - 1 tsp Cumin seeds - ¾ tsp Ajwain seeds - 1 tsp Mustard seeds - ¾ tsp Poppy seeds - One whole Coconut, grated or chopped - ¾ tsp Turmeric - 5 to 6 cloves of Garlic - Lemon-sized Tamarind - 1 Onion - 1 inch of Ginger - 3 tsp Oil - Black Pomfret (1kg) - Curry leaves Instructions: 1. Start by dry roasting fenugreek seeds, coriander seeds, cumin seeds, ajwain seeds, mustard seeds, and poppy seeds in a pan over medium heat until lightly browned. 2. In a mixer grinder, combine the roasted seeds with coconut, turmeric, garlic, tamarind, onion, and ginger. Add water as needed and blend into a smooth paste. 3. Heat oil in a vessel. Fry half an onion and curry leaves until they turn lightly golden. 4. Add the masala paste to the vessel and bring it to a boil. 5. Once the mixture is boiling, add the black pomfret to the curry. 6. Let it simmer until the pomfret is cooked through and the flavors meld together beautifully. 7. Serve your aromatic Mangalore Black Pomfret Curry hot with steamed rice.
watched this to help figure out how i was going to do this, and forgot to buy chicken when i was at the store. well... that's a lie,,, i bought buffalo wings and breaded tenders. every type of chicken i didn't need basically. them mushrooms going to survive another day i guess
