Dear Dr. Prabhjot, Your suggestions are good but not every school would like to be schooled on how to handle children esp when it comes to special needs. Besides, these days most of the schools just don't want to take any responsibility and end up asking for Shadow Teacher to walk away from their responsibility. Can you please suggest what can be the alternatives by parents. Esp while teaching younger kids. Also, would really appreciate if you could explain the rights of parents while dealing with such schools.
Hello ma'am. My 6yo eats only daal rice, khichdi, dalia, roti soaked in daal(vd spoon). Though he chews very well on chips, biscuits, candies. He just wont eat unsoaked roti vd hand, sandwich ,burger, pizza, upma, chila, puri. He has very limited options to eat. Does he has oral sensory issue?
Dr. I've had tremors since April of last year after getting Tinnitus and hurting my neck. Can neck issues cause tremors. I've several bulging disc one pushes my spine and a pinched never. Can neck problem cause the tremors? Have then in my head whole body? Especially when sitting or laying down. I go see a neurologist on the 11th of July second time. CAT scan done on my brain was normal.
I'm 62 I have them in my whole body. I've had tons of blood work done. And all good. When they originally started last year they were pretty rough. Did physical therapy 20 sessions on my neck. Tremors seem to go away All together. Then fell off my pool reinjured my neck. Tremors came back. But hand is steady I draw. it's inside like a vibrating. And breathing does help. They've actually seemed a lighter and shorter the past few days. Thank you Dr. 🙏♥️
Hello It is usual for 1 year olds to laugh and gestures, talking, actions appear funny to them. As ling as your child responds and plays, you should not worry
Mam everything is normal to me but the moment i hold a pen or pencil my hand is not controllable. My fingers move quickly and fast and i can’t write the letter clearly somethimes it is not readable. Especially i get nervous when i write infront of someone it turns really ugly 😢 kindergarten kids handwriting is much2 better then mine, signature can never be the same for me please help my

Hello It is not about chewing, it is about taste. Kids tend to eat fruits they enjoy. Try to only add one at a time such as pieces of banana with 2-3 pieces of mango or apple.
Maim how do I know if my child has autism by birth or after tv screen 😢my daughter 27 months right now but till this year of January she was like normal kid but now in end of may my daughter is lost in her own world and she only speak baby shark
I cut off screen since start of June but she sometimes give me response when I call her name but she did nt follow my command and she is still in her own world
Kindly get her assessment done if her social and language milestones are not developing. The assessment will give you details about whether she only has delay in speech and social skills or has sensory needs too.

In my neighborhood there is a boy of 2.2 yrs with no speech, agitated social behaviour, i try to speak to his family to reduce his screen time but they said its not possible. Parental awareness is very important many times parents realise things lately which hampers the child's development.

@beyondmiracle4089 then you seem to have psychogenic tremors. Kindly follow some mundfulness exercisea for relaxation and, if possible, consult a psychologist.

Patient had RTA having SDH,SAH and intraventricular hemorrhage followed by craniotomy nd cranioplasty now stable nd at home with ryle tube and tracheostomy so in that case can we start this therapy to the patient? Plz reply.....

Hello As I don't anything about your child's development so far, it won''t be possible to point out a reason for not eating. Has your child been diagnosed with something?
@therapywithdrprabhjot self regulation, you mean this is not stimming? He used to sing rhymes but no longer only sometimes. But he adds the words sometimes if I pause singing.
My son 2 month 10 days baby.give eye contact sometimes but all time he look at the fan, wall,window. Most important things he can't lift his head.durning tummy time.he is premature baby.
Hello It is never too late to help in the child's development and overcoming the challenges. Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy will help her wirh sensory and speech domains. Rest depends on the domains she has challenges with.
