Ok Out is mostly about side by sides at the moment, but it will grow into more than that. There will be camping/ overlanding content which will probably have a RZR in it. I'll share my opinions and experiences with the products I try out. It'll just end up being Ok Out.
I am in the middle of installing same enclosure on my '23 4-seater. At the bottom of window, is the stitching of the new window in or out of the outer door skin? It's weird both ways. I am able to get a few screws in on lower inside door. I like the drill hole idea for the rest, thanks. What did you use to plug the 3/4" holes after install? 1. Don't forget the spacers on the 3 mount bolts of window to door where the rust is, each side on top...I did! Taking it apart as I write. 2. Leave everything loose on the cage to fit it until your happy with the fit. 3. Need to cut out for mirrors also. Dremel saw works amazing. It isn't the best instructions provide for sure!!! Thanks for posting yours. I installed a sound enclosure curtain (used for industrial compressors, dust collection) behind back seats...25-30% percent noise reduction guessing & can remove easily. Helps with some heat but most is coming from front and tunnel.
I have that exact same XTP and setup. My biggest complaint is how much heat blows up from the shifter tunnel. Over 30 mph with the soft upper doors off its like a hairdryer blasting up. It’s miserable and unusable on warm summer days at road speed. No airflow in the cabin and air and dust swirl and draft from the console. I’ll be trying the A puller wind defectors and a shift gate foam insulation blocker. Interestingly enough with the soft upper doors on it pressurizes the cabin enough that no hot air blows up through the shifter gate. Oh and that stereo was the biggest waist of $1000 ever. The cab is far too loud to hear it with any clarity whilst driving. This is my first SXS and I was expecting it to be different. Oh well…
I have a 23 Commander XTP and have the exact same problem. Front and rear windshield installed in the center consul, blows out like a hairdryer. With the soft uppers on in the winter it pressurized the cabin and nothing blows in right when I could use the heat the most.🤬
Great video, I have a 2022 Can-Am outlander 1000r XMR and it has the electronic front diff lock. I got it with the Apache 360 lt tracks, I bought it brand new and ordered the tracks with. The front driver side track made clicking sound right away from when I picked it up from the dealer I only have sixty six miles or so on it and I brought it in for the dealer to check it out and I pulled it off the trailer and it quit making the sound but it made the clicking sound for the whole ten miles that I got on it this winter due to the fact it took a long time for the tracks to come in. I'm guessing the clicking sound went away after about four miles as the tracks were brand new, I hope it's not a problem and hope I don't eating the cost of fixing something that was a factory defect. Did your noise go away? At the end of the season in Minnesota at 50° Fahrenheit I was going through slushyish snow and leaving 20in deep tracks in the snow, with out gassing it. I can't wait for the snow to come again !!!
Sick! I have the exact same commander and have been thinking about putting tracks on them. This is the first one I’ve seen quality footage of. Do you run them in open rear diff or closed? Same with the front?
I found one three years ago for $ 98.00 free shipping and i worked it hard for three years with no trouble, still works till this day, i say money well spent.
Yes I do have a wiper. I do have a quick video explaining that, if you feel like checking it out. I do recommend installing a wiper, expecially if you're going to run tracks or somewhere that gets snow.
So I have a turbo R 2022 full cab and inferno heater and dealership installed everything rock sliders fender extensions all the other stuff is great but the heater is like air conditioning, leaks antifreeze no heat so what brand is that heater
Great video! Question: why is there a "cold" setting? I have asked around about this and no one seems to be able to answer. Is it also an AC unit? Also, you mention that there is coolant flowing through the heating radiator at all times, isn't there an off button?
After time with the wiper on the polyshield bouncing/rocking in the trails do u see any issues with the windshield possibly cracking or failing from the weight of the unit?
I'm so glad I got the Pro XP sport and not the 50" Trail ultimate. The skinny width and bells and whistles would've been nice but smiles per gallon with the 181hp more than make up for it!
