After completing this game and getting all the achievements I feel even dumber for not realizing I had to actually pick up the flames and put the in the statues
One nice detail, the target nodes are regular polygons. And they always have the number of sides equal to the target, plus two. (Triangle is the simplest regular polygon after all.)
I have a hint for you. The long room with the sword fish statues is more the it seems, maybe a bit of seaweed could be blocking the way? Try frisbing to it. Good luck !
I think Exile's language being "unsatisfying" to learn is part of the point of the floor, the whole place is dreary and depressing, it's one of only 3 locations we find dead people (Preacher on 1, bones in mines) the whole place is in purples and raining, somber music iirc. You're learning this language, not by talking to it's speakers, but by rocking out on computers. Though it's also supposed to show their intelligence as well at yours, you're using your knowledge of previous languages to solve the current one and they're using their technology to advance your knowledge quicker. Also it's a knowledge gate, you won't learn anything from those puzzles even if you brute force them if you haven't learned the previous languages
Your editing earned you a new subscriber, I love that you zoom and highlight stuff that you're talking about so viewers can quickly be on the same page as you. Not to mention speeding up sections that look nice but take a while instead of just cutting them or leaving them in. Very refreshing to watch your content!
I was both amused and disappointed when I found out the word you and I both had called "worker" was actually "idiot" It is a mistranslation, but it's still exactly how the bards see worker and it's very disheartening...
in the warp room, a screen below, there is a fish that gives you a flute code. fish meanings: fish look left (fll) = left. fish look right (flr) = right. fish look up (flu) = up. fish show tail (fst) = down. code: flr, flr, fll, fll, fst, fst, flu, flu. it immediately puts you in the room above the fish
Great progress! Looking forward to next episode, that area you're about to go into is probably one of my favorite areas/moments in the game! Also that bunny puzzle with the pixels you can change is 100% not doable alone, kinda took me out of wanting to figure out puzzles on my own after I learned that. At least it's not for an egg...
you should try the remote back at that chest that had the changeable walls and ceiling. also there's a fast travel combo you can play on the flute to take you to the room with all the animal faces if you want to spoil yourself on it. right, right, left, left, down, down, up, up
