Hey craig awesome vid as always just wondering what the main difference you felt between this board and the happy everyday and what one would you pick for a one board quiver cheers
I am on my 3rd 5'5" Chumlee....i never want to be without it. I had to custom order it last time due to it being discontinued and they did it no problem. Was all set to order another and they said they wont do it anymore! NOOOOOOOO this is the worst news ever. Any ideas?
Great reviews mate. Are you planning to do a Chilli Full Strength review? Will be interested to hear your thoughts on a comparison with the Chilli Middy 🤘
Ripping legend! Any chance of getting a review of the pyzel red tiger? Tossing that up for an everyday beachie board or the churro 2 (which u have currently sold me on lol)
Hi Craig… on the Volume II you used 30 liters. Did you increase the volume of your boards or should the Churro 2 be used with more volume than the Volume II?
I surf a mini simmons at 5'6 x 21 7/8 x 2 5/8 with glassed in true ames bar of soap fins. I'm 5'10 and 190-200lbs with intermediate/advanced surfing skill. Thing is a rocket and rips. Anyone wanting to a replace a floaty fish, this is the play. It's too much fun.... don't be afraid of the mini simmons.
Hi Craig, I’ve a CC Fish but used just once in crappy condition, felt ok. I will go to indo next week and I would like to take just one board as I will also travel a lot and just want to keep it comfy. Do you think this board can handle also some barrel-y conditions? Thank you!
Great review! I am about to purchase either a twinsman or a Lane Splitter mainly for Mexico long backside point breaks that vary from 3-7 feet, not really barreling but more slopy sections type waves. My liters would be around 36 I weight 180lbs and 6ft tall. Any helpful hints I would greatly appreciate. Which do you think you would choose and why?
LOVE your reviews man. I've had my eye on this board for quite some time. I have a 5'8 Christenson fish & a Happy Everyday (which I am not that excited with) and was wondering where the CI TwinPin stands vs the happy everyday.
Twinsman vs Plasmic: you have done a review on both and you say it’s the best twin fin on both those models you have ridden. So if you were to get one of them which is your choice and why?
Curious on how these feel when you compress into the bottom turn. Does it have that load up and release/squirt feeling? Or is it that more meant to be steered kinda feeling that I've experienced with a couple other Midlengths, namely the Stretch It, and Firewire Seaxe. Those two have me shying away from boards with nose to tail V, convex bottom contours. But maybe a "double barrel concave" would go great. Thanks in advance if anyone knows.
Best review! Are you still stocked about the HK twin or by now found a better twin? I am just about to order the HK twin but I can’t decide between the 5‘8 and 5‘9. For the past 6 years I am on the traditional Hypto krypto 5‘8 with 31 L. I know they say you should get the same as the original HK but especially for some smaller days or days with many mid length surfers in the water maybe some extra volume is not bad 😅 to increase wavecount? But I am afraid at the same time to lose some speed and fun going bigger/to big. As you have surfed it, can you advise if you think a bit bigger or smaller is the right choice? (I am intermediate surfer with 1.80 and 78kg). Thanks so much!
Great vids man!! ✌🏽 would you say the churro 2 would do well in 5-6ft conditions? Kinda tempted to get it but idk if it would do good in em bigger conditions
There is a "Dark Twin" PU board from 2021. Is it any different shape wise etc to the "Dark Twinn" - why the name difference? Is it only to spearate the PU from the Dual Core construction? Any one know?
Hey Craig. Thanks for epic reviews! Looking at a board to sit above my DHD phoenix for typical NSW coast (mid north coast ) beachies . Am older intermediate and ride the phoenix in 36.5L . Love it . I had an OG Flyer which was maybe bit under volume- I liked it but needed a good wave to go for me with that fairly steep entry rocker . Is this a better paddler ? Would you think something else might be better ? I’d considered a DHD black diamond , HS Holy Hypto. Cheers Brad
Hey! I haven’t ridden those last two, but the Happy Everyday is super similar to the OG, but maybe some more width through the nose and flatter entry rocker. Probably paddles better, and would suit a lower skilled surfer than the OG.
