@immigrantinvest-en
@immigrantinvest-en 12 дней назад
Correct, Vanuatu CBI does require a smaller amount of $130,000. However, that is the required investment, and not the entire amount the investor will have to spend. Applicants also pay state fees, Due Diligence fees and extra payments for adding family members. We do not consider Pakistan's CBI program, since most investors are not interested in obtaining the country's passport.

Applicants for permanent residence by investment can choose to rent real estate instead of purchasing it. However, they cannot rent any property, it has to be real estate worth at least €10,000 per year, and the contract should be for at least 5 years. That makes €50,000+ in total. St Licua's citizenship by investment program offers one of the lowest investment thresholds. In Sent Kitts and Nevis, the minimal investment is $250,000, while in St Lucia it's $100,000. If you have to submit the documentation in Uruguay, how does one arrange apostilles and police documents from the home country if the applicants must remain in Uruguay under the tourist visa until the residency is obtained? And isn't it true that citizenship is not the same as a native Uruguayan, and this is indicated on the eventual passport?
@immigrantinvest-en
@immigrantinvest-en 6 месяцев назад
Thank you for your comment. Arranging a police clearance certificate is also possible in Uruguay. To do so, one visits a consulate of their country of origin in Uruguay. However, other documents must be apostilled before travelling to Uruguay. Regarding citizenship, yes, it is true, since in Uruguay, the law recognises two types of citizenship: by birth and naturalisation. The first type of citizenship, or "ciudadanos naturales", is acquired by birthright in the country. The second type of citizenship, or "ciudadanos legales", is available to foreigners who undergo the naturalisation procedure. However, the passport does not usually indicate that on the cover.
@dovygoodguy1296
@dovygoodguy1296 6 месяцев назад
@@immigrantinvest-en Turn one would have to make sure of arriving in Uruguay no later than 3 months after the apostille. And what would happen if the authorities required an additional document to be apostilled after arriving in Uruguay? I suppose it's vital to engage the services of an excellent facilitator in Uruguay BEFORE arriving in order to avoid any potential mistakes since it's a long trip back and forth to Canada....
@immigrantinvest-en
@immigrantinvest-en 6 месяцев назад
@@dovygoodguy1296 Indeed, the process is tricky and requires thorough preparation and research. And, you are absolutely correct, it is best to contact an immigration specialist on the stage of collecting the documents and before moving to Uruguay.

If a person is married to an EU citizen which entitles the spouse to live in Portugal and retire there, what kind of documentation does the non-EU spouse need??
@immigrantinvest-en
@immigrantinvest-en 6 месяцев назад
To obtain residency in Portugal, a third-country spouse of an EU national will have to apply for a family reunification visa. Contact our experts to get a thorough consultation for your specific case: immigrantinvest.com/contacts-en/ The general list of documents required for family reunification visa is the following, But keep in mind that you might be asked to present additional papers as well: - filled-out visa application; - two recent photographs in color, size 4 × 6 cm; - bank statement for the last 6 months stamped by the spouse who is a citizen or resident in Portugal; - valid travel insurance; - criminal record certificate; - request for criminal record enquiry by the immigration service; - notification of family reunification by the immigration service; - proof of family relationship: a marriage certificate; - one-way flight ticket; - proof of accommodation in Portugal; - valid passport. If one spouse holds citizenship in another EU country, their spouse who is a third-country national can secure residency within that member state. Should the couple aim for Portugal as their destination, the EU-based spouse must initially transfer their residency to Portugal, thereafter inviting their husband or wife to apply for the residency visa.

Is that time on the ground or just time at that residency status prior to gaining citizenship?
@immigrantinvest-en
@immigrantinvest-en 8 месяцев назад
There are different paths to Malta citizenship and different criteria in each case. One of the criteria in the naturalisation path is to reside in Malta continuously for at least 1 year and 4 years out of the last 6 years before applying for citizenship. Malta citizenship is also granted on the grounds of naturalisation for exceptional services by direct investment. It requires an investment in the National Development and Social Fund. In this case, an investor has to reside in Malta for 1 year before the application or for 3 years before the application depending on the investment amount.
@MrBCWalker01
@MrBCWalker01 8 месяцев назад
@@immigrantinvest-en That doesn't answer the question. Do I have to be there or not? If I don't, then it's a Paper Residency process and what matters is the legal status and putting in the time at the status. If I do, then you have to specify that in your videos. Good channels like Wealthy Expat, Goodlife Investor, Citizenship Quickly, etc. specify time on the ground vs. Paper Residency and that's why they get clients.

Luckely, most of this is utterly incorrect, i guess it's an AI video. There isn't even such a thing as an 'european passport', taxes are skyhigh in every country and so is the healthensurance you pay monthly, around 150 eur pp (no matter which country). You can not move there with your entire family; most countries where this was the case now changed their policy and are closing borders because they are overcrowded. This video should not be here, this whole data is incorrect.

@immigrantinvest-en
@immigrantinvest-en 9 месяцев назад
If there is a tax treaty between such a country and Grenada, it will prevail over local legislation. In this case, it is possible to be taxed on income in Grenada only to the extent attributable to the permanent establishment, if there is one at all. If there is no representative office in Grenada, and we are talking about foreign trade of goods and services, there will be no double taxation.
