It'd be worthwhile to fish the upper part and tributaries of the South Toe before leaving. Cade and the others are likely familar with most. Waters run shallow and the fish are wild or native. Generally small, but, numbers and scenery can't be beat.

Grew up on that river, (32yrs ago) great Small mouth fishing,. Always fished that stretch between Ronceverte and Alderson! Now fish the Chattahoochee in Phenix City AL, great Catfishing.

NBP river video coming soon ? Love watching these videos but again social media is the biggest hole burning thing in history. The NBP peaked about 12 years ago. It was a fantastic fishery but due to poaching and a explosion in predator birds it's really declined. Just saying it doesn't need advertised it's already hurting.. Please say the fishing sucks in the video.😂 My 2 cents from a local flyfisher.
My Dad grew up in Pipestem and my Great Grandfather is buried st the Shooting Bob Lilly Cemetery across the ridge from the Mckeever lodge there. My Grandmother used to clean the Mountains Creek lodge so she would have to ride the tram down the mountain to clean.
