I'm just a guy who tries to share the atmosphere and experience of the concerts he goes to. I'm not a professional so pardon the quality, I do my best. I only film a few songs per show so I can really enjoy them, everything I film goes on this channel. I'd be happy to reply to any comments and questions on the videos
Camera used: iPhone 5S in the past I'm currently using an iPhone 8

Sigh, and Japanese bands in general, have always been theatrical. That's part of their identity and that puts a lot of originality in their shows I think
@@ItzFugue go watch alex play live he has no energy and hits like he's afraid to wake someone's parents up that coupled with matt's whisper screams now make this the worlds most uninteresting band live
Personally, when I go to see a band in live, I want to hear something that isn't on the records, something different... I've never seen Shinichi in live so I can't really say but for having seen Sigh two times with Oshima, I think he nailes it perfectly, brings some technics and that "something" they didn't have before, even when they perform their old songs... But I guess it's just a matter of preferences... If you can't see them in live, I encourage you to check Oshima's other materials he released under the name "Kadenzza", maybe you'd understand my opinion more
Aegipius well, even with Shinichi, the songs didn't sound exactly like on the record - but that may also have to do with Mirai playing keys instead of backing tracks - many songs had a different tempo and energy level. Just generally I like Shinichi's messier sound and especially solos on the early material- obviously Oshima can play circles around Shinichi, but I just don't like his style as much.
I had no idea too before seeing it in live (and I'm pretty sure it's only in live) haha It's Mirai who is playing it, unfortunately, not knowing he would play flute, I didn't film him... maybe next time
Not sure... If I'm not mistaken, it's Mirai on keyboard on the albums... (I know You can play too because he's playing it in Kadenzza but he's on guitar in Sigh so can't play the both...) so adding someone only for lives... But... I don't think it would really add something in live... Less than adding trombones and violins... And even with one person more, I think the space would be too full for them... They play on small stages so they don't have a lot of space... and Dr. Mikannibal & Mirai often move to search for their instruments and accessories so... it could make their task harder
After browsing their facebook pics apparently Mirai used to play keyboard live. I think he stopped around Hangman's Hymn. Couldn't find a reason why. That's a good point about filling up the stage too much. It wouldn't work to add another member. It would be kick ass to see Mirai play a synth solo though.
Mirai used to bring a Roland controller - I saw them in 2007 or 08 in NYC, and he'd use it for organ or electric piano sounds, sometimes chorus/strings. Their orchestrations have gotten more complicated, which I assume is why Mirai is no longer playing them live, but in their early days they used to change the studio arrangements for live and it worked really well - different energy, but still very cool.
