the "rally 2+" would be a great primary class, add a paddle shift, a little more hp and a slightly bigger rear wing. would be way more like the early 2000s golden era. the current rally2 are already faster than those
I don't hate hybrids I wouldn't say I like the lack of manufacturers and competition, currently, it is boring, Kalle is part-time damnit. We need more competition and more people.
It is wonderfull that such films are created, but it should be specified, that this reguards Estonian stories only, not eastern block in general. Behind the Iron Courtain, regarding LADA there was VILNUS (post WWII capital of Lituania SSR, pre war Polands fourth most important city behind Warszawa, Kraków and Lwów - last one is today in Ukraine), where they produced sort of B-group LADA VFTS (Vilniusskaja Fabrika Transportnych Sredstv) rally cars. So when talking LADA Rally cars of pre 1989 You must start with VFTS. When talking Raly from comunism countries again, you must start elsewere. Most succesfull team was Czechoslovak SKODA MOTORSPORT with their Skoda 130RS and 200RS (group B), bth based on Skoda 110R model - called Porsche of the East. Then there were great drivers in Hungary (ussually using Renault cars), East Germany in IFA works team (Wartburg), and lets not forget FSO with their B-group Polonez 2000Turbo. In the end one driver must be mentioned as the best Rally driver from East Block, a 3 time ERC Champion from before when WRC was established, so actually one might say a 3x World Champion - SOBIESLAW ZASADA from Poland, who was a works driver to 4 different manufactures from West! He drove for Steyr Puch, Porsche, BMW and Mercedes-Benz.
I fully back this to be honest. Would’ve preferred a year earlier, but I’m excited for the new regulations. I’m not gonna lie, I kind of like the hybrids. But what NEEDS to change is the points system. It is absolutely atrocious. The worst thing is they don’t even keep the viewers updated on fastest times throughout the weekend. So you can never know who’s leading on Sunday until the end of the rally…
Most of all these rally videos don't have any reporting or just any simple written story, I mean, why? Is It a european thing, cant someone atleast put the name of the the driver that won the event, which car, whos In first place, etc,Atleast am die hard Thierry Neuville fan, I like fourmax. Ott, Ogier, Loeb....I like them,very competitive guys. but yeah my guy Is Thierry...👊👊👊👊👊👊👊
Glad they’re keeping it. We have some of the most incredible rally cars of all time and I’m tired of people acting like there’s something wrong with them. WRC sucks at communicating anything about itself!
@@MotoPasjeKamila The title is actually "Legends of the Winding Roads" and if you clicked the link you can see on the top of the poster that it is about "Rallying in the USSR" and in the bottom that is is about the Baltic rally drivers. Also, it has nothing to do with propaganda, even if some ignorant people want to claim that.
@@RL-fs4ve I am reffering to the YT video title. About "propaganda" stuff, what I have had in my mind was, that it is shown as if only in Estonian SSR they were rallying, when it very much is not right.

I have one question for you and I'm sure you figured this out after you put yours together. How the hell do you keep the fluid from going back into the other Reservoir on the main master cylinder and then when you push on the main master cylinder brakes it will push fluid back into your handbrake Reservoir. so how did you stop that problem
Also, they better announce the new regs early enough. The new regs for 2027 should be announced at least next July, 1.5 years before the season. This will give enough time for current manufacturers to develop something even if they start late like Hyndai did, as well as leaves some thinking time for any new manufacturer wishing to join. In fact, by the end of this year they should have those regs writted down and approved for Jan. Otherwise we'll end up in the same shitty situation like last time where Toyota was organised, but Hyundai started too late and MSport with little money developed a car that was only competitive for 1 rally, so for more than a seasons there was only 1 competitve car - complete joke. Why can't they just change the morons who currently run WRC?
Good news. For now. The proposed plans were even more ridiculous than the current points system. Had they gone ahead, my 25 years of following WRC would've ended. But what happens in 2027? Unless they go for hydrogen or at least get rid of the hybrid and have a slightly cheaper but equally powerful synthetic fuel setup, there will be no progress and it's unlikely any new manufacturers will join. And I cannot see WRC surviving with only 8 top level cars for 3+ years. It's just about okay for now, but the sport is lead by imbeciles and the future of WRC still looks bleak.
Whilst its probably the right decision given the time a available to adapt to the original proposal it does nothing to address the major issue facing tge sport. Great youve kept 2.5 manufacture teams happy. For now. We need concrete plans that can be implemented by 2026 it reduce costs and increase top quality entries, and they don't need to necessarily be manufacturers. You also then need to change the e event format to attract more spectators and coverage. Long linear routes, more stages and moving services. Go back to the old days.
Amazing, as a Aussie born Pole i was fortunate enough to visit cold war Poland in the 80s, the cars: The Polonez, the 125, 126 made by fso carried the same fame of many a child living in the country at the time. I can relate to so so much of this brief clip even though i never lived there.
Dokładnie! Szkoda tylko, że tak tytułują to o Rajdach z za Żelaznej Kurtyny, a nie o Rajdach z komunistycznej Estonii, albo Estońskiej SSR. W końcu za Żelazną Kurtyną był wspaniały zespół Skoda Motorsport, byli szybcy Węgrzy w Renówkach i Wschodni Niemcy w Wartburgach. Lady to przed ewszystkim Wilno i LADA VFTS, a na końcu nie można nie wspomnieć o Polonezach Grupy 4 i potem Grupy B oraz o najlepszy mkierowcy z za Żelaznej Kurtyny - Sobiesławie Zasadzie. Pozdrawiam!

My father was driving succesfull rallye in GDR , my mother did. And most friends and aqaintancies were NOT lined party members, Stasi agents but often small business owners with privileged abilities due their diligence. nothing is black and white.
What nonsense are they talking about. The first starts back in 1960 s in Monte Carlo, Finland. On a regular basis, the USSR put up competitions world. The racers were supported by Autoexport and it bought all of them and promoted production cars. There were thousands of riders all over the country. The famous cars auto union raced in the USSR. The usual propaganda in their words. Remember the Afro-Americans Usa who were forbidden to study at the university and ride in the front seat of buses, women who were forbidden to participate in marophones, and there are many other examples.Why don't they remember these stories when they talk about some kind of race in the USA, Europe.
