Can you explain how this was done?

I installed the front lip that holes to feed brake ducts, then I put a hole in the backing plate to feed the center of the rotor.

They work well, my front pads now last longer than my rears. Also no fade.

Nope, it was just when I was changing the oil I saw this. They were pretty worn.

Were you able to see if it was the rod bearings?

Yes it was, I have done 8 track days since and changed the oil 5x and the oil looks good. I have some pics on old rod bearings on my Instagram FastMacM3

Have you found what the issue was?

Not yet, we are going to start with rod bearings and hopefully it’s just worn out rod bearings at 70k miles and not a bent rod

No codes, just once and while I would get a coolant smell. Then finally it started doing an occasional drip, then I rented a coolant pressure tester and was able to find it was the turbo actuator coolant seal leaking.

Mine was leaking and giving me turbo codes. I’m installing City diesel actuator from Genos in a couple weeks. Have to slap back together for now with gasket maker haha

Did you get cel or codes with this leak
@fastmacm3668

It’s coming from the turbo actuator seals

Not sure that’s why I did a video to send it to a few people. I have even pressurized it to 18psi but I don’t see where it’s leaking from

What was it, I think I may have the same issue if it’s your power steering?
