I was going to make a comment on the brilliant filming and editing by you but it’s already been pointed out, we’re so lucky to live in such a beautiful country
I am a bit late to the story - but what a wonderful story it is ! Video is excellently produced and the scenery is stunning. What an adventure and dad & daughter is a different perspective to the usual ‘young beautiful couple travel the world by yacht’ stuff. Added touch of humour is great.
Gosh I adore your videos! They helped us mentally prepare to sail up the East coast last year, and now again for a new trip. You edit beautifully and seem like a fun family! I love Moby too. Thank you!
I just came across your videos Monika and am quite enjoying them, thanks for sharing your trip with us. I live in Port Macquarie and remember a crazy ketch coming in over the bar in a big swell. You did a good job supporting your Dad 👍
You guys look familiar, oh yeah forward 2 years in Townsville moored at F33 - we were your neighbour on F31. For only having one year more experience you show a lot of skills. So7nds like you learnt by the school of hard knocks. Looking forward to watching more and seeing you again - Tiki
Camden haven is a man made harbour..its safe in all conditions...you didnt try and cross the river bar did you?... you shoud have camped at crowdy head and waited for the tide ...its much safer
Really enjoy watching these. You are a beautiful woman, but I like that you do not feel the need to be in every single frame with a selfie. Look forward to building a boat and traveling around Australia, hopefully will find a nice woman by that time. All the best, hope you are still enjoying life.
Great videos and well done on the improved quality and commentary with each video. I’m more your dad’s vintage but still love the limited chances I get to have adventures with my adult daughter.
Aweome trip- I've got a small yacht at Pittwater and want to sail it back to Melbourne, but in under a week... That will be a challenge, especially if I want or need to stop. I dont have any self steering or autopilot... but maybe need to buy at least a Tillorpilot.
Love your videos! We watched them 2020 and then sailed in your boat steps (Tas to Cairns), so it was most helpful to see where you’d sheltered and snorkelled. Beautifully edited too! Well done and thank you!
Hello folks, can anybody identify whether we are looking at man-made structures on the shore when looking straight ahead @ 14:23...To me it looks like high-rise office towers but that seems pretty much out there.
Hi Monika, this is been my favourite episode so far. You mentioned that looking back there’s a lot of things you would’ve done differently when the bad weather came through. What things would you have done differently? PS: We own a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 39. Thanks Rik.
Nice Videography work Monika. Your stories are really helping me as I plan my voyage. Loved the bar crossing but it looked very scary for you both. Cheers Rik
Hi Monika, my wife and are really enjoying your videos. Well done, it inspires us to get cruising again. Can you tell me what camera you are using and also what camera you use underwater. Cheers Darryl
Thanks for your input Ingrid, unfortunately when making these videos there’s more to consider than just the speed of delivery. Comments are constrained by the duration of the clips, which are timed with music, so it gets a bit complicated
