Finally! Nothing against new anime, but there's so many great ones I grew up with in the 90s! This is one of them. I wasn't super into it cause I had other ones at the time but now I am!

Im happy you do reaction for gotchard, its another good series might not be the best or my fav but its has its own good point as kamen rider series. looking foward to the next one! . also small note if you dont notice some small detail i like about early form is almost all of the finisher are "kick" with different style
remember its not that the parents know their kids are shinkengers. its a family duty. their parents were the previous team the 17th generation of shinkengers who sealed dokoku away in the first place and almost died in the process. the current team is the 18th generation. thats why the team was confused when Genta appeared cause through out the previoua generations there has never been a sixth shinkenger.
I love how goofy Gotchard can be, I see a lot of comparisons to the Showa era shows with how some of its characters and plot points act and I'm lowkey interested in seeing some of those early shows to compare those claims.
Great that you're watching a lotta Kamen Rider, but mayhaps it's time to backtrack a bit. To each their own but I heard Gotchard isn't the most highly regarded entry to KR. Perhaps mix it up with say, earlier Heisei for a different tone. You're watching Ex-Aid, which although it's not my personal favorite, a lot of people consider it peak KR. Much as I like Geats, I think it's generally only considered to be above mid but still below peak. Some recommendations. Just because it's "mid" doesn't mean it ain't worth watching though. Early Heisei - Faiz, Blade or Den-O for something much lighter. Late Heisei - Drive is a bit of a slow start for me, but overall I like it. Upper Mid - Zero One Peak - Gaim and Build R - Amazons
Nice. You mention 2 shows I'm currently watching on Patreon. Which are Faiz and Build. I'm enjoying the heck out of Gotchard. I didn't necessarily mind the slow start since the quality only increased. I guess I'm just enjoying the variety with the KR franchise.
I will say, that you'll def see the growth of Ichinose Actor's acting. He may seem unbearable and such compared to how Geats was, but thats how things go. Plus one cool fact is that, this is the actors first gig, as in this is their first role in anything. The fact he got not only into KR but as the main lead, shows that the people bts, see something in him. And as you progress you'll see it too man.
Most definitely. This guy impressed me right out the gate when he made his appearance in the Geats movie. That version is a farcry from what we see in this show. But it shows what Gotchard/Ichinose can potentially be. Especially with the different scenarios pertaining to his past and future.
@@WeAINTseenITREACTIONS Indeed. While many complained about it early on, only because of how surprising Geats was. That didn't mean it was bad. Gaim fully taught me to let the series and story grow before any real judgement can happen. And now Gotchard is def one of my favs cause I'm glad it went all lighthearted like this. I enjoy the dark/serious KR seasons too, but a good, lighthearted one about friendship is also always nice to see.
@@striberx glad to see I aint the only one who loves Gotchard. It has issues sure .But it is a good season. It is just that Geats was a tough act to follow. If this came out after revice or saber . We will be singing our praises over it. It is definitely on par if not above Fourze. And if people wanna talk a legitimate gripe about the franchise then Hibiki and Ghost are your men. In my opinion those seasons are bad.

clotho is the muscle of the sisters!!! Fub fact the actor for Clotho is a real life trained in kickboxing. Yeah the girl can kick your rear in real life. This is why she hardly has a monster form her kicking rears as she is is a joy to watch and she she makes the fighting chereo way better.

The one episode ended with the Decade closing screen was a prompt for viewers to watch Decade to find out what happened next. As to your question about how Super Sentai and Kamen Rider work as a continuity… that is complicated. The short answer is that this crossover established an extension of what Decade was doing and what every long running superhero story does: a multiverse. For the more long and complex: Super Sentai is its own thing, Zenkaiger later put the idea that the stories of Super Sentai are set on different worlds with the Gokaiger universe having a version of all of them on that one. Some universes such as Dekaranger’s incorporated other franchises, specifically the Metal Heroes. But Riders and Rangers cannot co-exist on a world, if they try to their existence glitches out and they risk Marty Mcflying out of reality altogether depending on who is where as shown in the Ninninger/Drive crossover. The Ninningers ended up in Drive’s world and were almost erased because they have no tether to that world in terms of existence. The old guy in the photo studio is a surprise I dare not spoil, the girl who witnessed the mecha fight is Natsumi and the weird guy who warned about Decade is Narutaki…thanks to poor writing we still don’t know what his deal is all these years later, just that he hates Decade and is a meme. *Onore, Decade!*
I had the opposite experience with this crossover, lol. I was watching Kamen Rider Decade last month and was told I needed to watch episodes 20 and 21 of Samurai to understand the story beats. Despite both being Toei, their writing styles are definitely very different. Samurai barely had any crossover story beats with Decade in their episodes, but it's the opposite with Decade's episodes.

so in case it has´t fully come over: parad is emu´s bugstar infection ...there needs to be bugstar cells in your system, so they are able to transform, if parad was to be eliminated than thous cells inside emu does´t exist anymore and he can´t use the driver/gasahts anymore , so like Masamune said, it all depends on his ability to transform
I still remember when they show that Decade will travel to Shinkenger world, it was a big deal because it was the first time Kamen Rider having to crossover with Super Sentai. For that two saturday, it like me and my siblings got to watch Shinkenger three time that day.(the third time was Power Ranger Samurai that air during the afternoon...)

Sometimes it is hard to contextualize how heavy somethings that are happening are because of how over the top and anime like it is, but let's see, in these couple of episodes: Masamune did enough damage to kill Kuroto, his own son (yes, he can revive, but every time he does actually take enough damage to die) over 20 times. Dude had the guts to kill his own son willingly 20 times in a row; not to mention the entire hostage situation he keeps conjuring. Hiiro not only had to grief the death of his girlfriend twice, he had to make a choice to save the life of the person he spent many months blaming for her death instead of her. Taiga literally got beaten to an inch of his life to apologize for not being able to save the life of one patient, though he did got beaten to half death trying to save her then too. Emu got the confirmation that he needs to stay permanently ill in order to be helpful in this fight. If his virus dies, he's as good as useless.
Fun fact, if you don't recognize it, Taddle Legacy isn't really new it's the gashat used by the Evil Other Hiiro from the Sentai Crossover Movie. Masamune just recreated it and gave it to hiiro.

The last seasons have less comedy and more action and serious storylines which you said you really love Gintama when it gets more serious, it's more up your alley. You've already seen 207 episodes, more than half. The last third of the story is mostly serious arcs. Maybe when you have time you might want to revisit it...
Chiaki's dad could have been a Shinkenger; in fact, he probably was in line to be one at some point. Same with Kotoha's older sister; the Shodo-Phone is passed down generationally. They are all from samurai families, and the reason they are all so young is pretty much draft age. They go when the lord summons, and then it is the most fit from each family. We see that more or less explained in other episodes. As for, "does Sentai and Rider exist in the same world", there's a very long answer to that, but the short one is "yes and no". Depends on a season to season basis, sometimes the answer is another planet, sometimes it is another dimension, but the thing is, there are ways to make them occupy the same plane of existance at the same time. And yeah, surely you know this at this point because this is month olds now; but Shinkenger's episode 21 was continued in Kamen Rider Decade's episode 24 and 25. This was one of the only times the crossover was extended like that, other times it was way more subtle and didn't require you changing shows to get the bulk of it.
I think in the previous line of Samurai during the final battle, Chiaki's father was the green samurai and after the final battle he lost his wife who wanted their son to live happily. And since that was the wish of his wife he decided to just let chiaki live happily as he wishes. Maybe at some point he was about to leave the life of samurai all together because he himself understands what dangers his own son will go through and since he had already lost his wife he did not want to lose his son as well, Maybe Chiaki told his father he wanted to be a samurai and told his father how he felt and his father agreed with his choice. My reason for thinking this is because I remember Mako's mother was involved with the final battle and got seriously injured. Episode 34 if I'm not mistaken. Ryunoskue's father seems to be alive and well. Kotoha seemed like she only has a sister as family so I believe her father may have passed, abandoned them or other things, while her mother most likely was involved with the final battle and survived but later on succumbed to her serious injuries.
To add some context for episode 21. It is apart of a three part special with Kamen Rider Decade, with this episode taking place between episodes 24 and 25 of Decade. In Kamen Rider Decade, Decade travels to other worlds along with his companions in the photography studio, hence why it suddenly appears in place of the hospital. Tsukasa (Decade) also dresses up in whatever role he is placed in by that world, hence why we see him dressed up as a Kuroko. Also in this episode, the reason why that Gedoshu looks like a Kamen Rider is due to it stealing Kamen rider Diend's henshin device. I highly recommend checking out Kamen Rider Decade as the riders he meets in that series aren't the main riders we see from the past series, but rather alternate versions of them. Meaning that they won't necessarily contain spoilers for their original series but are still able to get a somewhat understanding of what the other series are like.
Rise does have a longer version of the intro song but no visuals to go along with it I really like the accapela version of the theme song coverd by the voice actors

38:42 to my knowledge people in japan aren‘t too fond of super sweet stuff, hence they usually combine sweet with something that balances it out, like coffee.
A majority of the openings also have a full version they used for the movies. If you feel disappointed with in any of the 30 second intros, I'd actually recommend reacting to the full length songs & seeing what you think. A few are even completely different to the 30 second version with a different vibe like Pokémon Johto for the 3rd movie or we will be heores with D&P to the Rise of Darkrai movie.
While 40K and Berserk do have many similarities, I don't think either was necessarily inspired by the other but rather they both took inspiration from the same sources as each other. In particular Jungian psychology, Hellraiser, and old sci-fi media.
