I saw it yesterday! When it landed back from going to France and turning around you could hear the reverse thrust, very loud. I also caught a picture of it today.
I have no info on this, sorry. Also, I'm going away for a week and won't be able to reply to comments on my RU-vid channel until my return. You may consider joining Cambridge Airport Spotters group on FB.
There is a Heads Up thread on FighterControl (for the registered users only). RadarBox is a public source that displays some military dues too (which may or may not happen). Also, regular check on the ADS-B exchange site displaying military flights allows early detection of potential visitors.
Well, "dude", this is just one of my currently 13 videos featuring the first five IAF C-130J aircraft, which came to Cambridge for MRO. It was filmed in 2022. I've made nine more videos since, showing each aircraft the best way I could do at the time.
Thanks for another lovely video - the PC12 is a favourite of mine as is music from Roger Whittaker. Since Whittaker owned and piloted a KingAir 350 for many years, you should come back to his music if ever such an aircraft graces the CBG runway in the future. Thanks again!
You are welcome! I recalled the Roger Whittaker's music after it was used in a recent TV advert: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MxljxGDF0R4.html
@sk7technology My question was a rhetoric one. It was rumoured that delivery of this final C-130J aircraft was delayed by two years because it wasn't paid for in time.
Took some photos of it on a playing field in Newark on Trent to attend an incident. 25-06-24. I wondered why it wasn't our normal Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.
