@@liliamanda I figured it out. Just mark the collection of actions, chose the context menu where you can also save them as an ATN file and chose "copy as javascript" instead. The JSON is within there.

Very refreshing to hear a pro say "I don't remember the numbers, i use actions.". I am always very stressed out about not remembering the numbers and exact steps. Thank you Lili.

😆I prefer to leave my brain space and time to something else that is more important than the technical stuff. I can look the numbers up anytime I want. Give your brain a break and try not to be too hard on yourself. instead, give yourself a lot of encouragement, I promise you will learn faster!! ❤️❤️❤️You're more than welcome.

I edited in LR using my Benq monitor that can read Adobe RGB, when I exported to SRGB jpg file to my phone, that was totally low saturation. Every time. I don’t know how to fix it?
@liliamanda

This could be that your monitor needs to be calibrated or there are some settings in LR that you can try, see the links below. I don't know exactly what's the problem you encountered but I found 2 threads that might help you. community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/completely-different-colors-when-exporting/td-p/12592056 and community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/color-differences-exporting-to-srgb-amp-soft-proofing-not-working/m-p/12465311 best luck!

What type of files you have? Are they all xmp files in your zip file? As I'm not sure what you have, it might be the best to check with the preset seller. Good luck.

Hi - nice tutorial. I have used this method myself and it works well when the model is on a plain or consistent background - not quite the easy solution when the model is against a complex background. Also, it's not so easy to remove flyways from the models face especially when there are a lot of hairs from an outside shoot. Would be interested to see how you would approach this situation. :)
@liliamanda
@liliamanda 9 месяцев назад
Hi!! Good to know the method works for you! It's the quickest hack that I figured out. It does have the limitation that it works for a plain or consistent background. For complex background, I would try using smaller selection instead of a big area as shown in the tutorial. When there are a lot of flyaway hair on the face, I usually go for the old school method, remove them by using frequency separation and patch tool, strand by strand on the high frequency layer. It takes time but it can be done.

Hi! Is there a way to temporarily see the base image through the dimmed new “patch” layer when adding back the parts of base image?
@liliamanda
@liliamanda 9 месяцев назад
Hi! If I understand you correctly, you want to be able to see the original photo right? You can lower the opacity of the "new patch" layer, for example 50%, then you will be able to see the original photo and make adjustment according to your liking.

What’s your opinion on adding Grain to photos in general? I recently started adding on mine, and honestly it’s a whole new world. Probably won’t be adding to Product photography for obvious reasons, but other than that, I think photos look more alive, not that digital.
@liliamanda
@liliamanda 10 месяцев назад
Grain often gives a vintage feel. In the olden days when we use film cameras, when the film is in ISO400, 800 and more, it naturally produce the grainy effect. It happens in digital as well but it's more of "noise" than film grain. That's why adding grain can have "nostalgic" feel and vintage look, I agree that I wouldn't the effect on product photography or food photography unless it's aim for a vintage look. It also give a photo a certain style. Different amount old grain also makes a difference and this is easy to figure out just try some black and white presents. Check out this video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--IzHLsPqHVc.htmlsi=vM37K38j7Ovdt0bA

Hi why to add grain Whats purpose
@liliamanda
@liliamanda Год назад
There are quite a few reasons why we add grains to photos, to name a few: 1) Adding texture. Sometimes retouching can be over smooth, adding grain can make it look more natural. 2) Old films with high ISO creates grainy effect. Adding grains can make a photo look more vintage. 3) Sometimes retouching removes grain in some areas and that can make a photo look over retouched. Adding grain back can make the photo look smoother.
