@@AnnaF33 mariah, adele, and whitney are in a different lane of their own. that doesn’t mean only their songs are difficult to sing. the chorus in making the bed is constantly transitioning between head and chest voice. flipping between the two on the fly and that fast isn’t easy. being able to sing quietly with control and sound good is just as hard as belting out notes left and right.
@@plankton2878You know, your comment just served as a meta-interpretation to this song. My initial reaction was: No, it's not hard to sing. You've got to have a mezzo or sporano voice but other than that it's easy. But then you explained the technique behind it and I realized that the reason I don't find it difficult is that, after years of practice, I actually manage to do this wirhout putting much thought into it. To me, that's really what this song is about: We count and list all our failures and shortcomings an completely blur out the things we have achieved, the skills we have learned and all the tasks we ace, forgetting to pat ourselves on the back and remind ourselves that sometimes even the small things we do on a daily are a big deal. Be proud of yourselves guys - you are doing life just fine.
