Is there any surviving footage or pictures of the Hollywood stars mural that was located on the lanes by the toilets? Tried desperately to see that again!
When I worked on security at the Meadowhall Shopping centre all those years ago, I was there when they held the premier film event for 'When Saturday Comes' with the brilliant Sean Bean. I had the pleasure of exchanging a few words with him and what a lovely guy he was. A surprise as well is that he wasn't as tall as I thought he was. It was also supported by a great Sheffield band who we don't of anymore ... Big Wide World. I was so impressed with them that I bought and still have a 'cassette' of their music at that time ... Brilliant! It was a great night and one I'll never forget!😃
I remember this TV ident very well and the Enya Orinoco flow video that was played on the massive oasis TV screen every 10 mins throughout the day. Meadowhall was great in the early years from 1990 to 1999 especially all the fantastic Christmas decorations compared to the dull lifeless Christmas decorations they have now. I don’t go to Meadowhall as much now as it’s changed beyond recognition. All the beautiful palm trees gone and the recent revamp is dull and boring. I live relatively near Meadowhall and only now go once or twice a year and I reckon most local people don’t go as much now as locals have renamed it as Meadowhell instead of Meadowhall. Was fun when it lasted but less favourable now.
@@richardbrighton7737 I see his ponit they in public control and public accountability the tram represents Sheffield has and always tried to show they are the furture what ever that may be well atleast it was look at it now
Great movie I just watched it on the CHARGE channel...I normally don't cry during sport movies but this one really touched my heart. All the cast was great in this movie but to me Mr. Sean Bean was awesome 😁
