Definitely has a lot going on and for the expert fly tyer.I hope one day I can tackle this with the precision you display in this video. My hat's off to you on this beautiful masterpiece of a streamer.
Very nice pattern. By tying the lead eyes on top of the hook shank, won't that cause the fly to flip over in the water and swim upside down? I didn't see you tie in any lead to counter act the torque caused by the lead eyes above the centre of gravity of the fly. Just askin'.
I was going to say the same thing by tying the eyes on top it will flip the fly over and hook gap will be on top. So if you are going to tie this patterwn, tie the eyes on the bottom of the shank.
Thanks! This is made for brown trout fishing in Finland. Big brownies eat a lot of small fish (bleak) and they love this fly, many times takes it with jump from surface. But of course you can use this for other fish too.
