Superb... BRAVO, you can give me the GPX file. I did the last part of the ride 1 month ago with my gravel (67 years old). See you soon. PS, your buddy in front was getting very tired I saw!
@@alpinegoat Right at the beginning there's another trail behind the big Radio mast. On that trail there are also some bigger jumps and you can carry alot more speed.
Nice ride! If you feel like travelling a bit checkout Luxembourg think it's rather underrated for MTB. Not exactly Saalbach AT or anything but its really good fun and similar to what this video is like.
@@nicolaigiezendanner2675 I hope it didn’t take 9 months to find it haha but yes that is a nice trail to end on. Very beautiful in the spring with the bärlauch.
I think I got pretty lucky catching a warmer day. There was still a little snow at the very beginning riding up. I’m guessing there’s still snow from the last couple days but a few warm days it should be good to ride again.
Good day! first things first.. NICE video man! 2nd, what are your gopro settings? i'm going to ride de Enduro race this september and i saw some bad footage on youtube. For example, camera view. i saw a video which pointed to low, barely no scenery only the frame and the handlebar was on camera. Which quality settings do you prefer? Ciao, thanks in advance!
Hey! I'm glad you like the video. I'm not sure off the top of my head what the settings are on my GoPro. I watched a video from The Loam Ranger. He has videos sharing his set up for GoPros that I would recommend for finding the right settings in pro tunes. I also have my GoPro mounted on the chin of my full face helmet by cable ties. The chin mount is my favourite so far.
@@paulofernandes4473 The official trail ends at the restaurant „Unterer Brand“. That‘s at 7:43. Then there‘s an inofficial trail down to the Teufener Strasse in Riethüsli, but if you don‘t take that direction and rather bike straight on at the right side of Unterer Brand, you would end up in St. Georgen.
Guys, you make it look very easy. Visited the trail today again. It’s my hometrail, as I live very nearby. Actually the last part (where you brake heavy for the slower guy) until end is part of my ride to the office.
Dude, as you manual in those tight spaces at fast speeds; it reminds me of the Red Bull races where the riders are riding down ridiculous steep steps, sidewalks, over rooftops, and jumping stupid high ramps etc... I’m on the edge of my seat watching with one eye open because I can’t manual like that, it freaks me out. Also, the little kid at 12:29 running away 👍lol...
😂 I pretty much feel like I’m in some urban downhill event. There’s no better feeling than flying down a hill doing a manual 🤘🏻 Normally kids laugh or go look at him, but this kid had fear all over there face 😅
Awesome ride. I didn’t catch the girls name, but looks like she got some skills. I could see her wanting to rip the corners... Sharing with a local group in Florida :-)
Cool vid!! I love the last rooty section of waldegg trail, just before the Appenzeller bahn :) I live in Teufen close to the trail and any time ready for a ride, would you like to ride together? I would be happy! Wanted to send a PN, but it seems to be impossible on RU-vid?
Do you have an Instagram? My Instagram name is the same as my RU-vid. I could message you there when I go on a ride. I live down by the Bodensee so I probably won’t ride much more this year. Next year I’ll be living in SG so I’ll be riding it much more next spring
I feel for you. That early season enthusiasm, when the weather is glorious, but the mountains are still full of snow! The Runca Trail is definitely a great reward for your efforts though!
We didn’t know there was going to be snow but I’m glad we were fit enough to do the hike. It was so much more rewarding to ride the Runca trail after that!
