I recently discovered your channel and you are one of the most meticulous watchmakers I have ever seen. If I were a collector of very rare watches I would trust you to service them.
Just want to ask regarding the crown. For a monoblock case, how do you take the crown off since everything is open from the top? Is there any lever to take out the crown? Thank you
I always wanted a mm300 replica, but the fact that i have to take this watch apart like this and the fact that I regulate 90% of my seiko movements this seems like a bad idea.
i dont get why seiko did this monoblock case design, the watch still has 2 seams where water can enter, instead of being 1 and front and 1 at back at of the watch. it has 2 at the front. same risk of water ingress.
I have never seen so much care and sophistication. I love my watches and I can't stand a scratch on them. But where I come from, the local watch repairers are barbaric. Even a simple battery replacement ends up with dings and scratches. I just wish all watch repairers handle the watches with so much care as you do. Your videos are so satisfying to watch. Keep up with the good work 👏👏
you used to align the H/M/S hands at 12 when installing them but now I see that you move the hour hand to 6 before installing the minute hand...then move everything to 9:20 before installing the seconds hand. is there a reason for this?
