It’s not recommended to use a cordless drill because it has a brake function. I used a corded drill because there’s no brake on most. Also always duct tape your bits.
@@centralillinoissirens. nope everything is there except for the top shrouding and surprisingly the motor is not gutted, but I asked the station and they said the motor is burnt out
The 1003 on the ground and the one on the pole came from Lebanon, OH. They used to be part of Lebanon's old CD system. The 1000T laying on the ground supposedly came from Centerville, OH and is used for spare parts on the active spillway 1000T outside Harveysburg.
I would like to make an announcement I have lived right next to to this siren for my hole life and it is now inactive I feel bad for anyone who have not got to see it is the loudest siren I have ever heard and I will miss her I now live in miamisburg since Dec of 23 sentry live forever
Did you use something similar to a model train control or something because MS 190 choppers last like 1 millisecond to wind down and yours lasted God knows how long
