Slip knot, chain 6 Skip 3 chain, 4 triple crochet in forth chain Double crochet increase in next stitch Single crochet increase in last stitch Chain 1, slip stitch in second single crochet Work on other side of chain Single crochet increase Double crochet increase 4 triple crochet Chain 2, slip stick in same stitch Repeat With the tassel just wrap string around and then tie the middle and a little down the middle *me also just copying one of the comments and pasting it like I did it*😁😁😁😁🙃🙃🙃🙃
THANK YOU for a fun new pattern! It turned out great and mine held a regular sized ChapStick just fine. It probably could have been a little snugger in case my cotton yarn stretches out, but that would be on me, I used a 2.75mm hook (what I had) and the video shows a 2.5mm hook (which does differ from the 3mm listed in the text under equipment). I also used a magic ring to start because I am terrible at beginning projects like the video showed. I really appreciate you sharing your free pattern!!

This is a much inferior design to many other carnation patterns available on RU-vid that are less certainly less messy and less dangerous than using a glue stick with a lighter. Introducing floral tape rather than wrapping with the same green yarns detracts from the flower's presentation. It may appear simple to make, but presentation loss negates any simplicity
