Juddy Productions is a RU-vid channel produced to assist secondary school students in the study of Physics and Mathematics.

As a Physics and Mathematics teacher with some 30 years of experience, I appreciate that not all learning takes place in the classroom. I also appreciate that students have a hectic lifestyle that relies on accessible online material 24/7.

I started making tutorial videos several years ago in response to students' needs. Students tell me that they appreciate the opportunity to review materials covered in class. They also appreciate the flexibility of studying online material when it is convenient for them.

The content posted on Juddy Productions focuses mainly on the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE - Victoria, Australia). However, such content is central to many secondary education certificates around the globe.

I hope you enjoy my videos. If you would like to become part of the Juddy Productions community, then please subscribe.

Mark Judd.

Hi, thank you for this very helpful video. I was curious about this, though: if a cut was made through A-D, D-C, C-E, B-E. Following the car example you would add all except D-C together, but I believe C-E (even though the flow arrow is left to right) would not count as its flow was severed with the cut at A-D. Is this correct?

How cool is that! It doesn't account for the variation of g around the globe. But an interesting point. Thanks for sharing.

What Will the galvanometer show the current in coil A is flowing steadily
@JuddyProductions
@JuddyProductions 4 месяца назад
With a constant current flowing through the first coil, there is no change in flux, therefore no induced current in the second coil.

Nice video! If U=I*R why 15ohm*0.64A = 9.6V while voltmeter input is 10V? Do i miss something?
@95rav
@95rav 5 месяцев назад
An explanation on why the volt meter didn't match the voltage supply would be helpful. The addition of a Jackobs Ladder and having Igor operate the vintage equipment would also add to the aesthetics of the video.

real answer: if you drew arrows C and D to meet at one node (no dummy variable) and then have arrow E coming from that node, you will find that you CANNOT draw arrow F from any node to show that its predecessor is only arrow C and not D. That is why we need a dummy variable. There is no need for a dummy variable from E to the node before G since it is totally fine to have multiple arrows go to the same node as long as the arrows come from different starting nodes.

So f=-kx is compressed spring . But f=kx is extending spring?
@JuddyProductions
@JuddyProductions 7 месяцев назад
The negative indicates that the direction of force is opposite to the direction of the restoration force generated by the spring. So, if you apply a tension force to stretch the spring, the force generated by the spring is in the opposite direction it will want to pull the spring back to its original position. Vice versa for a compression force. So the negative is a vector sign. It is irrelevant if you are calculating the magnitude of the force es (ie. the answer is always positive).
